Andrea York
About me
I’m a dedicated postpartum doula and proud mom of two boys, with a deep passion for supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. My journey working with children began in a Montessori setting, where I cared for little ones ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. That experience, along with years of babysitting, helped me develop a strong understanding of child development and a genuine love for nurturing young children. Before becoming a postpartum doula, I worked as an overnight nanny, supporting families through those tender and often exhausting newborn nights. It was during this time that I realized how meaningful it was to care not just for babies, but for parents as well. Wanting to provide more intentional, informed support, I pursued professional training to become a postpartum doula. Now, I’m honored to walk alongside families as they adjust to life with a new baby—offering compassionate care, practical guidance, and a calm, reassuring presence during this special transition.

Service introduction
Infant care is the central part of postpartum support, and I will focus on helping parents feel confident and capable in meeting their baby's needs. Providing proper feeding techniques, whether breastfeeding or formula feeding and recognizing hunger cues. Emphasizing on safe sleep practices and teaching parents how to soothe their newborn. In addition, focusing on supporting both the physical recovery and emotional well-being of the mother while ensuring the newborn is healthy. My goal is to create a supportive, respectful environment where the mother feels heard, informed, and empowered as she adjusts to life after childbirth.

Ratings and reviews
Andrea is truly one of the most insightful doulas I could have asked for. She completely exceeded all of my expectations, from her knowledge and guidance with breastfeeding to how incredibly helpful she was throughout the night with my newborn. She also has such a warm, inviting energy that made me feel comfortable and supported from the start. I’m so grateful for her support and would absolutely book with her again!
