Hello 👋🏻 I’m an Ayurdoula. What the heck is that you ask? It’s a doula who specializes in Ayurvedic postpartum care. Easy to digest, nutrient dense, flavorful foods are grounding and healing and necessary after you bring an entire human into this world. I have 10 years of experience as a birth/postpartum doula, prenatal yoga teacher and childbirth educator. My passion passion is to nourish mothers postpartum and bring them into balance with food and bodywork. Think of me as the guardian of your fourth trimester. I nourish you inside and out with home cooked, easy to digest, nutrient dense meals, Ayurvedic bodywork, light cleaning, compassion and as a four time mom myself I know how hard and how beautiful this time can be. When you have the right care, your postpartum experience becomes a time for blissful bonding with your baby!

You will have nourishing support with all your meals provided that are easy to digest, nutrient dense and made with love. I want the people around you to understand your unique needs and support you through this process with your newborn baby. Ayurvedic methods to nourish the body like Abhyanga set you up for a positive transition from pregnancy to motherhood. Postpartum planning is a priority and you don’t want to look back and wish you did it differently. In my childbirth education education classed I focus on birth rights and physiological childbirth. We learn the techniques in prenatal yoga to help you connect with your body and baby and to tap into the power of your mind body connection.

Physiological Childbirth Education
Learn about childbirth, what to expect, your options and most importantly your rights. Don’t be surprised in the moment when faced with common interventions, knowing what your options are ahead of time allows you to make informed decisions with consent instead of making important decisions under duress. The goal of childbirth education is is to avoid looking back and wishing you knew more information before making a medical decision for you or your baby. Knowledge is power. Classes are held four times/year January, April, July and October

Full Ayurvedic Meal Plan
The first 6 weeks (42 days) with your baby is sacred and you will never get that time back. Your body and brain are experiencing immense transformations. That’s why we experience “pregnancy brain” or “mom brain”. There are now several books on traditional postpartum diets with some great recipes but that wasn’t enough for me. Instead of thinking about what to eat, when to eat, who makes what, or eating random casseroles or granola bars, I’ve done all the thinking and planning for you! This meal plan is very easy to follow and delegate to friends and family so all your meals are easy to digest, nutrient dense and freshly prepared with love for the first six weeks postpartum. All recipes are vegetarian with gluten free options.
