About Avery

As a full-spectrum doula, I am committed to nurturing, preparing and empowering birthing people during the sacred transitions of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. My practice is rooted in compassionate, equitable, evidence-based care that honor's the mother's decisions and bodily autonomy. I received my doula training through Cornerstone Birthwork in San Francisco, and I also provide prenatal yoga as a certified yoga teacher. I completed my 200 hour with Kendra Potter in Missoula, Montana.

What to expect

As a birth doula, I provide 2 prenatal appointments to go over your birth plan and preferences, breathing and relaxation preparation for labor and birth, as well as prenatal yoga! In the weeks leading up to your due date, I am on call and available when you would like me to arrive at the hospital or birth center :) During labor and birth, I provide continuous, non-medical emotional, energetic and physical support. I collaborate with your partner (if applicable) and birth team to ensure your needs and comforts are fulfilled. I provide one postpartum meeting to check in with you, your baby and your family!
