I have a Health Science degree from the University of Waterloo, over 150 hours of university-level education in breastfeeding, and extensive clinical training in lactation support, in addition to my doula certification. I have attended over 100 births across five hospitals, three birth suites, and many (many) homes. I specialize in supporting gentle hospital births for high-risk pregnancies and IVF families. My name is Lauren Mackenzie and I am a Full-Spectrum Doula and Birth-Worker, certified through Fanshawe College. I am passionate about empowering my clients to have the labour and birth experience they desire, by providing education, informed choice, and continuous support throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period!

I’m a passionate and experienced parent who knows firsthand how magical - and sometimes overwhelming the newborn stage can be. I had a doula for my own births, and that experience opened my eyes to just how beautiful and capable the human body is.
