About me

Bearing Beside Doula Services LLC provides education, techniques, and comfort measures for your birth, nurturing care for your postpartum period, and support for your transition into parenting. Consultations and prenatal visits with Bethany will educate, inform, support, and empower you as you prepare for your labor, birth, and postpartum recovery. First Aid/CPR/AED classes are available.

Service introduction

I am on maternity leave until end of May 2024. I will resume taking clients with EDD starting in June 2024. I offer labor consultations and packages. For postpartum services, I offer household support, food preparation, and sibling engagement. I also offer American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED classes. I can accept FSA/HSA payments and help file for potential reimbursement from insurance.

We were very thankful to have Bethany as our doula. She was kind, calm, and proactive throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, providing support exactly when we needed it. She provided pregnancy support using The Body Ready Method as well as collaborative assistance in the creation of our 2nd Birth Plan and prioritized prior 1st birth trauma considerations. Our birth ultimately became an unplanned repeat C section, which brought back some anxiety from our first experience. Having Bethany there provided stability during an uncertain time and gave us a trusted advocate to help guide us through the process. All things considered, everything went as smoothly as it could have, and we’re grateful Bethany was part of our birth experience. We’d happily recommend her to any family looking for a knowledgeable and supportive doula.
