Hi, my name is Annelise Little and I'm a Birth Doula, Maternity, Birth, and Newborn Photographer and Reiki Pricticioner in Pickens, SC. I grew up sitting in on La Leche League meetings and Baby Cafes with my mother, learning about birth, babies, and the strength and wonder of bringing new life into the world. I'm now honored to devote my time and passion to supporting families through the amazing experience of birth. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, music, hiking, my cats, and game nights with my friends and family.

I found my calling to be a doula through my own journey into motherhood and my three very different birth stories. As a wife, mom of 4, and total birth nerd, my deepest desire is to nurture and embrace you in all the ways I didn’t know I needed before enduring two traumatic c-sections. I went on to receive that nurturing embrace after fighting to have not one, but two incredible, redemptive home births. I use my education and personal experiences - both good and bad - to tailor the support I give you, with empathy, joy, and gratitude, while striving to have a true servant’s heart. I’m here to change how we view pregnancy after infertility or loss. I look at this mission in a couple of unique ways — by sitting with women who have experienced loss, by encouraging them as they try to conceive again, and by supporting them once they are pregnant again. I lost my first baby in January of 2021, have been struggling to get pregnant again, and have made it my goal to provide moms with the support that I wish I’d had. I’m a certified birth and bereavement doula. But more than that, I am a passionate loss mom with a heart for other mothers — no matter what stage they are in on their journey to motherhood.

hi, I’m a current active mother baby nurse and have been doing this job for 18 years now. I’ve realized I would like to care for newborns but not in the hospital setting. I am very clean and calm. as well as a very good communicator from all my years in the hospital. I value peace and harmony and hold the family in the highest esteem. I love nature and have lived here for over 30 years and have been married for over 30 years. My two children are 25 and 30 and my daughter who is 30 will be moving back home with her husband. I don’t have any grandchildren yet and my husband ran the local college farm for 20 years. I’m a closet artist and my house is filling up with beautiful art I have created over the last 10 years. My husband and I also love to garden and have lots of house plants and orchids.
