About me

My goal as a birth worker is to hold space for women as they go through the sacred journey of pregnancy, while educating them on their natural ability to give birth. My own birth helped me realize my passion for helping women feel empowered in their births. From this thought and the encouragement of friends, Kindred Souls was born. In addition to Placenta Encapsulation, I am also a Certified Birth Doula and Birth Photographer. I serve an hour radius of Toccoa, Georgia.

Service introduction

As a birth Doula, I offer 2-4 prenatal appointments where we talk about birth prep, pain management, and pregnancy/newborn/postpartum care. I rely heavily on evidence-based care, and making sure you have cal the tools necessary to make your own safe birth decisions. I offer herbal remedies and homeopathy for common pregnancy and birth ailments, as well as placenta encapsulation if you wish. After birth, I can help you establish a good breastfeeding routine in the weeks following birth. I also offer birth and newborn lifestyle photography.

Divine Birth
- 3 prenatal visits lasting roughly 2 hours. - Time used to get to know each other, discuss pain management, breathing exercises and Hypnobirthing, labor and birth information, prenatal massage, and newborn care. - Assistance in creating your birth plan. - Access to my lending library. - Continuous text, phone and email support upon hire. - Prenatal nutrition and exercise support. - 24-hour on-call availability from 36 weeks on, unless discussed otherwise. - Continuous support at your labor and birth, starting from when you feel you need me until when you feel fully supported after delivery (usually 1-3 hours after birth) - 2 postpartum visits. Typically 1-2 weeks, and 6 weeks after birth. - Basket of locally made oils, teas, and tinctures to help you through pregnancy and postpartum.

Prenatal nutrition and exercise support. - 24-hour on-call availability from 38 weeks on, unless discussed otherwise. - Continuous support at your labor and birth, starting from when you feel you need me until when you feel fully supported after delivery (usually 1-3 hours after birth) - 1 postpartum visit, used within 6 weeks after birth.
