About me

Hello, my name is Brielle, and I am a birth worker supporting families through both home and hospital birth experiences. All aspects of comprehensive birth support are my passion, and I believe deeply in empowering families to make informed choices that align with their values and circumstances. Coming from a background that honors both traditional wisdom and evidence-based practices, I believe birth can be a transformative experience when families feel genuinely supported, heard and empowered in their chosen birth setting. My practice serves as a bridge between different approaches to birth, bringing personalized, mother-centered support into all birthing environments. I'm guided by three core principles: Trust in women's innate capacity and their ability to make the best decisions for their families, Presence that creates calm space for families to process and navigate their birth experience, and Respectful Witnessing - being fully present for families without imposing my own agenda on their journey. With almost ten years of experience as a doula beginning in New York City, I've supported families across diverse settings and circumstances. My understanding of birth support has been enriched through studying with traditional practitioners internationally, and I come from a family lineage of midwifery that spiritually informs my approach to this work. I remain committed to empowering families to access their own strength and wisdom wherever they choose to birth, combining time-tested support techniques with respect for modern medical care when needed. I believe every family deserves compassionate, knowledgeable support that honors their unique path to parenthood. Reach out if you'd like to connect on an intro call!

Service introduction

I provide comprehensive birth and postpartum support services designed to help families navigate pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood with confidence and clarity. I work with families across all birth settings—home, birth center, and hospital—offering practical guidance, education, and hands-on support tailored to your specific needs and preferences. My services include prenatal education that covers both the practical aspects of birth and evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions. I provide continuous labor support, offering physical comfort measures, advocacy, and emotional guidance throughout your birth experience. My postpartum care focuses on helping families adjust to life with a new baby, including breastfeeding support, newborn care guidance, and emotional processing of the birth experience. For families planning to conceive, I offer fertility support that combines cycle awareness education with practical lifestyle guidance. I also facilitate Mother Blessing ceremonies for those interested in meaningful experiences that honor sacred transitions, and host community gatherings where families can connect and share experiences with others in similar stages of their journey. My remote services bring the same depth of care and support to families anywhere through virtual consultations, online birth preparation sessions, and digital community circles. These services are ideal for families who prefer online support, live outside my immediate service area, or want to supplement in-person care with additional virtual guidance.

Mother Blessing
A Mother Blessing is a meaningful alternative to a traditional baby shower that honors your transition into motherhood. This sacred gathering brings together the women who love and support you to create an intentional space for blessings, wisdom-sharing, and celebrating this profound life change. Rather than focusing on gifts for baby, a Mother Blessing centers entirely on you as the birthing mother. Your circle of women may share birth stories, offer words of encouragement, create meaningful keepsakes, or participate in simple rituals that honor your journey ahead. I facilitate these ceremonies to create a warm, supportive atmosphere where you can feel truly seen and celebrated during this transformative time. Each blessing is personalized to reflect your preferences, whether you prefer a more traditional approach or something uniquely your own. Please reach out to learn more about pricing.

I met Brielle before even trying to get pregnant and knew that if I took that path, without a doubt, I wanted to have Brielle as part of my support system and as a guide. The knowledge she shared in just the minutes when we met showed me the depth that there is to know about pregnancy and birth. It was important for me and my partner to work with Brielle because of her spiritual and indigenous perspectives. After each session with her, we were overwhelmed with awe at the magic of life and thanking the universe for connecting us with Brielle. The word "enlightening" came to me a lot when talking to friends and family about our doula sessions. My partner and I felt very supported by Brielle on a knowledge level and an emotional level through the whole process. We're so grateful!

Brielle was my doula for the birth of my first child in June 2025. As expected, I was excited, nervous, and feverishly trying to seek and learn as much information as I could during my pregnancy. After our initial consultation with Brielle, my husband and I knew we wanted her to be on this journey with us. Her bedside manner is delicate and razor sharp. She contains a wealth of knowledge and was a masterful guide while in the hospital during my delivery. If I had to answer a question from the OB that I was unsure of, I could look to Brielle, and with a nod, she reassured me of her sound advice. I found comfort in her always starting with a homeopathic approach before introducing other resources. We aligned on desiring the best outcome for my son and my body. Having a doula postpartum is a MUST! No matter how much you read and research, having someone you trust give you real-time answers to your relentless questions is invaluable. Brielle was available 24/7 and was gleeful to be of service as a guide. I highly recommend Brielle for your pregnancy journey. I know mine would not have been as favorable without her. Best of luck and congratulations soon to be Mama/Papa!

We were so grateful to have Brie step in to support us with our 2-month-old. We had to end our night support with our previous doula and can't appreciate Brie enough for stepping in and helping out right away! From the very beginning, Brie was incredibly gentle and caring with our baby, which immediately put us at ease. She was very helpful as we worked on adapting to a sleep schedule with our newborn, which made a big difference for our family. She also quickly adapted to our home environment—even when we had family visiting and things were a bit busier than usual—making everything feel smooth and comfortable. We especially appreciated her flexibility and willingness to adjust to our changing schedules. Having her with us brought so much peace of mind, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a kind, reliable, and thoughtful support to care for their newborn baby.

I hired Brielle to support my second sovereign home birth. I hired Brielle because I felt very connected to her as a woman, friend, sister, and birth worker. A birth worker who carries a very specific perspective around birth and it’s possibilities for women and families. I feel that Brielle brings a beautiful grace to a birth space. She orients towards being hands off and observant. For me, this orientation in a birth worker is non-negotiable because it is a deeply intuitive and mother-led space. Brielle was the exact type of support that I knew that I wanted from the beginning. As a birthing mother, my belief is that I am the one to birth my baby, and I am the lead of my birth space, and so having truly mother and family led birth support is my priority in my birth spaces. That means for me that the people that I invite in to support the space are oriented towards observing me, listening to me and following my lead. And this is something that I felt Brielle did amazingly. Qualities that Brielle brought to my birth dove that I loved were that she wasn’t overbearing, she didn’t bring an authoritative energy in, she didn’t project her own beliefs or expectations onto me. She was quiet, hands off, yet monitoring the process closely. She was open, receptive, and made me feel at ease. Brielle trusts birth, and that feels clear to me. And she trusts women, their bodies and the great mystery of it all. She always speaks of her deep, inward and spiritually oriented experiences in birth spaces, which to me, says she's connected. It tells me that it's not just a role, that it's not just going through the motions or doing what she's been taught in any of her studies, but rather, she understands that it's women's mysteries, it's women's medicine, and that she's a part of that lineage, but is in the back seat role as she follows her sister, the birthing mother, the birthing woman. And to me, that's everything.

As a single mom, I sought to connect with someone special to assist me in my birth. I was overwhelmed in what to look for in a doula, until I was advised to interview, interview, interview. In our initial phone conversation, Brielle answered all my questions. I connected with her answers almost immediately. When I met her in person, I knew she was perfect for the job. Her energy is very warm, nurturing and loving. I had my baby in January 2019 and despite my efforts of a vaginal birth, my baby girl was breeched and I ended up with a cesarean. Looking back at my birth experience, I have to say that Brielle did a wonderful job in preparing me for a natural birth. I labored for 15 hours without medication and all her advice and guidance is what got me through it all. She provided me with the tools for hypnobirth breathing. She periodically checked on my emotional state to ensure I worked through any fears or negative feelings so not to bring them into my birth. She encouraged me to listen to my body and my intuition and trust them both. I gained so much confidence in myself. She worked well with my midwife and birth team. Brielle also educated me on the importance of post partum care. She advised on nutrition, self-care, and my support village. Her post partum care provided womb and vaginal healing through vaginal steams. She also provided emotional support. She led a Mother Blessing ceremony, a wonderful and loving experience every woman should have before birth. And she completed her services with a Closing of the Bones ceremony, a rite of passage from maiden to motherhood. I loved both ceremonies. I would highly recommend Brielle as your doula. She is simply an amazing soul. She was the right fit for me and my spirituality. She will forever be a part of me and my daughter's life.

Brielle was so supportive throughout my pregnancy and labor. She checked in on me often during my pregnancy to make sure I was doing ok both physically and emotionally and still checks in from time to time. During my labor she was there every step of the way showing up late in the evening and staying all night so my husband could get some rest. Brielle was really supportive and helped me process all the things that didn’t go according to my plan. After days of labor and hours of pushing, I think I would have had a much less positive birth experience with Brielle’s support. Her postpartum support was great, and it was so important to have someone hold me accountable to healing and taking care of myself. Months later she is still checking in to make sure we’re all doing well.

Brielle did a wonderful job as my doula. Her warm personality and love and appreciation of all aspects of the maternal experience make her a natural fit as a doula. She provided my husband and I with the support we needed from pregnancy, through childbirth and postpartum. She helped with everything from showing us stretches to help with lower back and hip pain and recommending reading materials to the more significant things like connecting me with a teacher for birthing/breastfeeding class and helping to devise a birth plan. She would check in often to ask about my physical and mental state as well and lend an ear to any anxieties I was having. Many times, Brielle would just send a quick message with words of encouragement and inspiration that would always lift my spirits. When I had questions she would often do research to make sure she would be giving me the best information possible. Something which I valued very much. During labor, Brielle knew just when to take a more active role and when to step back. When we had to deviate from the birth plan because of unforeseen complications and I was scared and upset, she did an excellent job of helping me refocus and reminding me that I was doing what I needed to do for myself and my baby. Brielle also knew just what to say to my husband so he would stay calm and continue to act as an effective birth partner. In her role as my postpartum doula, Brielle provided me with both the physical and emotional support that I needed. She even accompanied me when my baby had to be readmitted to the hospital for treatment. As my recovery was longer than expected, she continually checked in to make sure I had everything I needed and often connected with other doulas to see if there was anything else she could find to help me. I can say without hesitation that Brielle was a tremendous asset during my transition to motherhood and any parent-to-be would be lucky to have her with them on their journey.

I had the pleasure of working with Brielle during a recent birth with a woman who was having a difficult time reconciling her labor. This mother completely responded to Brielle's confidence and warm, supportive presence. Her grace helped this mother over the hump and allowed her body to move forward and open. I sincerely recommend Brielle as a birthing doula.
