My wife and I are looking for a newborn care specialist to assist us during the nights for our baby's first 6 weeks (potentially more depending on how it goes). 8 hours for 3 nights a week. Our budget is around $8k - $10k. Additionally, we could be interested in a post-partum doula during the day a couple of days at some point during the first couple of weeks. Our insurance reimburses us up to $2.5k so looking for someone that would fall within that budget.

I heard that my health insurance might cover it. I don’t want to be induce to give birth if my baby isn’t ready on the due date given.
