How these prices are calculated

Prices are the rates night nannies and newborn care specialists list on their Bornbir profiles. Birth doula packages are left out, because they pay for labor support rather than nights. So are hourly rates under $15 or over $200, to leave out package prices entered as an hourly rate by mistake.

The Buzzards Bay figures count providers based within 150 miles once at least 5 of them list prices; below that the page shows Massachusetts or United States figures instead. Medians are the middle price, ranges the middle half of prices, and per-night costs assume a 10-hour shift. Figures recompute daily.

The cost of a night nanny in Buzzards Bay, MA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Buzzards Bay, MA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

We are so grateful for Stacey’s help. Our baby went from waking 7 times a night to sleeping through the night much faster than we ever expected. What stood out most was how personalized her approach was. Her recommendations were evidence based, but always tailored to our family’s needs and comfort level. As nervous first time parents, having Stacey check in with us nightly and help troubleshoot in real time made all the difference. We trusted her completely after working with her as our postpartum doula, and hiring her as our sleep consultant was one of the best decisions we made. Highly recommend!

I was extremely anxious during my second pregnancy after having a miscarriage during my first. I didn’t know what to do and had many questions with just about everything. Cheyenne was very patient, friendly, and professional. She answered about every question I had and provided me with great support. I was about to relax a little bit with her around. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Jenn’s support during the first weeks with our son. Those early newborn days can be both joyful and overwhelming, and her calm, knowledgeable presence made all the difference for our family. From the very beginning, Jenn brought a sense of reassurance and confidence into our home. Hi, I’m Marsha, founder of Blissful Sleep Doulas. I began supporting families as a postpartum doula in 2018, and what started as one doula caring for one family at a time has grown into a trusted team of experienced, dedicated doulas supporting new and growing families throughout Greater Boston and beyond. Blissful Sleep Doulas offers birth and postpartum doula support, breastfeeding support, newborn and infant sleep support, and prenatal education. We also offer digital guides covering pregnancy, newborn care, postpartum recovery, feeding, sleep, and more, because we believe parents deserve reliable support and practical answers throughout the entire journey, not just after baby arrives. Every doula on our team is carefully vetted and brings professional training, hands-on experience, and a genuine passion for supporting families. Our approach is warm, judgment-free, and personalized to your family, your baby, and the kind of support you actually need. We believe the postpartum season deserves just as much care and preparation as birth itself. You shouldn’t be expected to figure everything out on your own or feel like you have to do it all without help. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating those first weeks at home, looking for overnight support so everyone can get some much-needed rest, or trying to understand your baby’s changing sleep needs, our team is here to help you feel supported, rested, and confident along the way. Rested Parents. Thriving Babies.

Recent review

I cannot recommend Blissful Sleep enough! We have used them twice now, and their timeliness and reliability really stood out compared to other services we’ve tried. The doulas are natural at soothing and caring for babies, and they were incredibly helpful with establishing routines. Beyond just childcare, they did dishes, washed bottles and pump parts, and helped with other chores, which gave us more time for sleep. We appreciated how flexible they were. They always adjusted to whatever we needed that specific morning—some days that meant letting the baby sleep as long as possible, and other days they had her changed and fed so she was ready for our morning rush to school/ work. If our baby didn't need anything in the morning they would brew coffee and read to the older kiddos. They go above and beyond to support the whole family.

Hi, I’m Nicolette Meinert, the founder of Family In Bloom. I have worked with children and families since 1997, when I completed my first American Red Cross babysitting course. My path in early childhood care began in Wakefield, Massachusetts, where I volunteered in summer-school and after-school programs while attending Galvin Middle School. I went on to study Early Childhood Education at Wakefield Memorial High School. Since graduating in 2004, I have worked as an infant, toddler, and preschool teacher and as a full-time nanny, caring for children at many stages of development. I bring nearly three decades of experience, a calm presence, and deep respect for the trust families place in me. Newborn & Family Care My greatest passion is supporting families during the newborn stage and helping parents feel more confident as they adjust to life with a baby. Through Family In Bloom, I provide overnight infant care, postpartum support, newborn-care guidance, and thoughtful care tailored to each family’s routines, values, and needs. I have cared for several sets of twins and understand the distinct needs of multiples and the practical support their families often need. Whether you are welcoming your first baby, growing your family, or navigating a more complex newborn experience, my goal is to offer dependable, compassionate, and safety-centered support. Specialized Infant Experience I hold a special place in my heart for medically complex and premature newborns. My experience includes supporting infants with NG tubes, G tubes, and oxygen needs, as well as premature babies born as early as 30 weeks’ gestation. My commitment to this work grew while caring for premature twins who were born at 30 weeks’ gestation. That experience reinforced my belief that families caring for babies who need extra support deserve skilled, steady, and compassionate care. I work within my role and collaborate respectfully with each family’s established medical team and care plan. Safety-Centered Support Safety is a central part of my work. As an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR Instructor Trainer and Child Passenger Safety Technician, I enjoy helping families build practical skills and confidence around everyday safety. My approach combines continued education, careful attention to each child, and support that feels encouraging rather than overwhelming. Education, Training & Certifications My education and professional development include training and certification in: Early Childhood & Family Care - Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care infant, toddler, and preschool teacher - CAPPA Postpartum Doula - Newborn Care Solutions Newborn Care Specialist - Infant and Child Training Academy Multiples Care Specialist Infant Safety & Wellness - Safe Kids Child Passenger Safety Technician - Safe Sleep Ambassador - American Red Cross First Aid/CPR Instructor Trainer - Medication Technician Feeding & Specialized Infant Support - Infant Feeding Technician - Pediatric Tube Feeding - Oral Ties - Infant Mental Health - SleepWonders Integrative Course for Professionals

Luciana was an exceptional night doula/newborn care specialist and support for us and our son. She has such a warmth about her and a love for what she does, and she is so knowledgeable; she put our new parent minds at ease, and we learned so much from her. She helped us transition home from a prolonged hospital stay, and she went above and beyond, checking in with us during the day as well to help with feeding and sleep suggestions. Would highly highly recommend her, she is the best!

Throughout the 26-year journey of raising my sons, and being a nanny and caregiver, I have gained knowledge, skill and wisdom. I desire to teach, help and support new moms as they “find their inner mama”. I am there to teach new parents how to care for, soothe, breastfeed, read “cues” and feel confident and comfortable in the care of their babies. As a postpartum doula, my desire is for families to ease into the huge life change of adding a newborn as smoothly as possible, whether it’s their first baby or their fifth, since each child holds it own challenge, and the needs of families ebb and flow with a new child. My heart is to support families in a non-judgmental way in all their needs, whether it’s sleep, advice, holding the baby, helping the baby sleep, preparing a nourishing soup, folding laundry, helping you find resources in your local community, or just being a veteran mom who will listen as you process all the emotions of your transition into motherhood.

I don't know where our family would be without Rebekah's postpartum support! On a typical day, Rebekah will watch the baby while I get a good nap. She'll often cook a healthy snack or make dinner for us to reheat later. She is also a baby & breastfeeding expert and has so much knowledge to share. She has so many good tips about everything from nursing positions to diaper changes to managing sleep. Getting through this tough newborn phase has been so much easier with her guidance!
