​​My name is Jennifer West of tend•her and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and a birth keeper who supports families in Calgary, Alberta and the surrounding communities. I also support women virtually which allows me to tend women all over the world. My goal and my passion is to support women no matter what birth they are choosing to have. At home, at the hospital, assisted and unassisted, I believe all women deserve the high level of care and support I give.

HI! I'm Angela. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and child birth educator based in Calgary AB. Doula work is truly heart work for me. I’m devoted to creating a nurturing, empowering space where you feel confident, informed, and supported as you prepare to welcome your little one. My goal is to be both a calm presence and a guiding partner, helping you connect with your own strength and intuition as you grow your family. Every birth is a unique story, and I’m honoured to support yours with compassion and care.

Tracy's passion for serving and nurturing people goes way back to childhood. While she often said she wanted to be a waitress when she grew up, she absolutely loved babies and simply wanted to be a mommy - little did she know the 2 were synonymous! Fast forward to adulthood where, thanks to reality TV shows, she became an armchair birth expert. Only to find out with her first pregnancy and birth that she really knew nothing. After having her second baby, she stumbled across doula work and realized how beneficial a supportive birth professional could be, thus realizing her true passion in life (finally!!) Nurturer + passionate about birth + love of babies = the perfect mix for doula work! Tracy is a Certified Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula & Postpartum Doula. When not working, Tracy can can be found spending quality time with her 3 kids. Preferably outside - camping, travelling, seeing and exploring. Or sometimes inside - reading, bingeing on Netflix or blaring music way too loud while she embarrasses her kids with her awesome dance moves.

I’m Adele (she/her), birth and postpartum doula, perinatal educator, Evidence Based Birth Instructor, owner of The Hive Doula Services, RMT, mom to an 18 year old, and born in Ontario but lived in Calgary for almost 21 years. You can find me obsessing over birth photos and placentas, sending birthing videos to my bestie, and dreaming about the birth room. Hi there! My name is Krista, and I am the owner of KKH Doula Services in Calgary, AB, Canada. It is so nice to meet you! I started my doula business in January 2022. I became a postpartum doula after struggling in my own postpartum journey. Lacking my own support, I was diagnosed with postpartum depression and anxiety. It was through my perinatal mental health groups that I learned about postpartum doulas and the amazing work they do! I immediately signed up for postpartum doula training, and the rest is history! I have been so fortunate to have supported many families in their postpartum journey. Families seek me out because of my lived experience with perinatal mental health disorders, grief, and over 12 years' experience in the disability and mental health field. Hi, my name is Maida and I'm a certified birth, and trained postpartum doula. My primary focus is birth support, but if you also want a little bit of help transitioning once you get home with baby, I'm available for that too. I tend to be a calming, quiet presence, and my clients usually comment on how I keep them feeling steady and grounded during birth. I live in Calgary with my husband and two pre/teen boys. I love to garden, knit, and dance. I bake all the things, and can't wait to settle down on a small farm someday.
