Hi, I’m Carissa! I’m a bilingual birth doula serving Austin and Central Texas. My approach is warm, grounded, and judgment-free. I’m here to help you feel informed, prepared, and genuinely supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum; whatever your ideal birth looks like. Together, we’ll create support that feels like you: personal, thoughtful, and centered around what matters most to you.

Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Labor & Delivery Service

Total Doula Support – $1,800 This package includes full-spectrum support from pregnancy through postpartum: • A 90-minute Discovery Call to connect, plan, and ground your vision • Personalized virtual and in-person prenatal sessions • Continuous labor + birth support (home, hospital, or both) • A postpartum visit to support recovery, feeding, and emotional wellbeing • Ongoing guidance via text and phone throughout your journey Built for families who want informed, intentional, and deeply present care. $800 deposit secures your spot and covers all sessions outside of labor. $1,000 covers birth support. I’m also a Kaiser Permanente and Medi-Cal provider and accept both insurances for eligible services.

What to expect

Discovery Session (Meeting #1, over Zoom): During our call, we can develop your ideal birth plan together, or you can share your ideal birth details with me so that I understand my role clearly. I'll also learn about your coping mechanisms to provide the best support. Prenatal Support Session (Meetings #2-5, Virtual / In-person): These sessions are fully tailored to your needs and scheduled at your pace. Whether you want to dive deep into birth planning, explore comfort techniques, discuss fears, or simply ask questions — each session is designed to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll review your pregnancy progress, address concerns, and equip you with the knowledge and confidence you need for labor, birth, and beyond. Labor & Birth Support: When it’s time to welcome your baby, I’ll be by your side with steady, continuous support — physically, emotionally, and energetically. My role includes: • Being fully present for you (and your partner, if applicable) from active labor through birth • Offering hands-on comfort techniques like massage, breathwork, counterpressure, and position changes to help manage intensity • Supporting your voice by advocating for your preferences, reinforcing your birth plan, and helping you communicate clearly with your care team Postpartum Visit (In-Home): This visit is all about checking in on you — your healing, emotions, feeding journey, and life with your new baby. We’ll process your birth experience, talk through any challenges, and make sure you’re feeling supported, informed, and cared for. I’m here to hold space, answer questions, and offer guidance as you settle into this new chapter.

Carissa was such a lifesaver during my pregnancy and birth! From our first meeting, I felt completely heard and supported. On my delivery day, she really helped me stay centered. It felt like she has a way of anticipating people’s needs before they even realize what they want. I honestly don’t think my birth experience would’ve been as smooth or memorable without her.
