About me

I am a CAPPA certified postpartum doula and Carrot eligible provider with over 20 years of experience caring for infants. I hold a degree in Social Work and am also a practicing Life and Health Coach. I am a mother of four, with my oldest and youngest children twenty years apart. I spent over a decade as a foster parent to infants and toddlers. I have firsthand experience supporting families through complex and emotionally charged seasons, and across every stage of parenting—from the newborn period through young adulthood. Welcoming my youngest child at age 44 has provided personal insight into the unique joys, challenges, and considerations of parenting later in life. I actively work with children in various roles (because kids are fun!) and had the privilege of homeschooling my children for five years, which strengthened my patience and flexibility. When I’m not supporting families, I enjoy working out at the gym, cooking from scratch, spending time outdoors, and enjoying time with my big, diverse family. I am honored to walk alongside you during this important life transition.

Service introduction

As a postpartum doula providing evening and overnight support, I offer calm, attentive care so families can rest and recover. I assist with newborn feeding, soothing, and sleep routines, light household tasks related to baby care, and emotional support for parents. My role is to nurture the whole family, create a peaceful nighttime rhythm, and help build confidence during the early weeks at home.

If you are looking for a nurturing, kind, and servant-hearted doula, look no further! Carri was such a blessing to our family as we transitioned from two to three children. My personal needs looked different every day in the postpartum period, and what I loved most about Carri was her genuine “how can I help?” attitude and her willingness to jump in wherever she was needed. From folding laundry, to helping with dinner, to taking the baby off my hands so I could rest or be productive, she truly lightened our load. Carri brings so much wisdom and lived experience to her work. She gently offered ideas and practical solutions I wouldn’t have thought of on my own, always in a way that felt supportive and never pushy. Her insight, and encouragement made such a difference in those early weeks. We are so grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any growing family.
