Hi, I’m Kristin (she/her)! As a certified Birth and Postpartum doula and a mother of five, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my role. Supporting my sister through her three births and serving as a surrogate for a loving family deepened my love of all things birthy! Additionally, my upbringing in a family that fostered newborns instilled in me a profound love for caring for infants. I am deeply grateful and honored for the opportunity to assist families on their perinatal journey. As your doula, my role is to honor your choices and create a nurturing environment. I recognize the vital role of partners in the birthing process and strive to foster a supportive and unified atmosphere throughout pregnancy and birth. Throughout our time together, my goal is to empower you with knowledge and understanding of your options and rights, fostering a profound sense of confidence. With support tailored to diverse birth experiences, I am committed to helping you achieve an empowering birth that embraces the path that suits you best. I provide comprehensive assistance, including education, physical support, and emotional guidance, enabling you to tap into your instincts, trust evidence-based research, and have faith in your body's capabilities. I'm here to honor your journey, encompassing all emotions and aspirations.

I purchased a birth doula package from Kristin. We had the free consultation (video call) and two prenatal visits and one post partum visit in my home. My husband (which was also my support person) attended the visits, too. It was important to her to include my husband in the conversations because she wanted the three of us to be a team, which I think is great! Kristin provided us detailed information about the labor process, gave us handouts to refer to and she also showed me stretches/workouts that I can do to prepare for labor. She answered all of our questions and provided resources. She went through a detailed questionnaire with me which helps to create a birth plan and also prepares you to think about the ‚what if situations‘. My water broke at home and my labor progressed very quickly. Kristin arrived very fast at my home. She helped my husband pack up the car (incl. our toddler) and she was with me in the car and helped me stay calm and focused on laboring during the 20-30min drive. I was so thankful to have her with me. I would have panicked but she convinced me that we are making it to the hospital - and we did. While I was birthing, there were lots of questions and voices from different nurses and doctors. But Kristin was next to me and she would repeat what they said and I only focused on her voice. Kristin took photos once the baby was born and I am so thankful for them. She stayed with us for a bit and then checked with us when it was ok for her to leave. Throughout the pregnancy and post partum Kristin checked in with me or I could ask her a question and she would give me resources. My husband and I are thankful that we found Kristin and we would totally work with her again! I highly recommend her!

Hello! My name is Sara Sheehan. I graduated from the University of Texas in 2018 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. As a queer person, I was still left feeling the need to do "more" for my community. In 2017 I found my passion for birth-work while looking for a sustainable occupation that would allow me to use my empathy skills to support my community. As it turns out, Doulas do just that! I'm a certified postpartum doula through Childbirth International, and a trained Full-Spectrum Doula through Doula Training International. Today my service as a Doula and my work as a painter have found a happy harmony in painting portraits of pregnancy, postpartum, and birth scenes.

I thrive on empowering clients and advocating for their voice in their birthing journeys. Through my ever evolving doula career, I have supported families through grief, loss, and abuse. I serve families at home, in hospitals, and at birth centers. I strive for all families to have a positive birthing experience full of compassion, nurturing, and love. I offer birth services, photography, placenta encapsulation, and postpartum support.   My passion for birth and support were inspired from my own passage through birth and motherhood. Through my own birth experience, I was drawn to support others the way my doula cared for me. My passion for a positive birth journey fuels my model of care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time hiking and camping with my husband, two daughters, and dog. I loves yoga, music, and travelling.

Everything you want to happen from a Doula during your pregnancy journey and birth, is what Ellie was able to mold herself into. Warm, detail oriented, easy to work with, and had great chemistry not only with me, but with my husband and 2 1/2-year-old as well. Her communication was on point, checking in after each doctors visit, And answering my endless, questions with ease and kindness. I had an amazing birth experience, I was very lucky, and I cannot imagine anyone else being there to welcome our second child. Ellie, our family is grateful for you, and you will always be part of it ❤️

Hi, I’m Kat! A doula, parent, and the heart behind Meadow’s Blossoming Bellies. For the past few years, I’ve been home with my daughter Meadow, watching her grow into this bright, fierce little human who’s taught me more about life and strength than I ever expected. She’s the reason I stepped into this work. I want her to see that it’s never too late to follow your passion—and that women can lead, heal, and build something powerful, even in the messiest seasons of life. My path to becoming a doula didn’t start with a dream. I found this work through my own experiences of birth, trauma, and healing. Meadow was born six weeks early and spent time in the NICU. Our journey included feeding challenges, a g-tube, postpartum depression, and a long road to bonding. It wasn’t easy, but it cracked me open. It made me realize how much support matters. Not just medically, but emotionally, spiritually, and human to human. That’s why I show up the way I do—as a birth, postpartum, and sibling doula who’s committed to creating a space where people feel safe, respected, and never alone. I’ve taken a range of trainings, mentorships, and classes, but most of what I bring to this work comes from lived experience and deep listening. I’m here to walk with you through the unknowns—offering grounding support, honest conversations, and care that fits you. My work is rooted in connection. I meet each family where they are, honoring your values, your needs, and your voice. Whether you’re navigating birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or preparing your older child for a sibling, I’m here to support the whole experience with presence and compassion. This work is sacred to me. Every story matters. Every birth matters. And you deserve someone in your corner who sees you fully. If any of this resonates, I’d love to connect and see how I can support you.

My experience with Kat at Meadow's Blossoming Bellies has been truly exceptional. From the very first interaction, it was clear that Kat is not only passionate about her work but deeply committed to providing remarkable support to expecting and new parents. Kat's expertise as a doula is matched only by her compassion and genuine care for her clients. Throughout my pregnancy journey, she offered personalized guidance, ensuring every step was designed to meet my needs. Her calm demeanor and reassuring presence during labor were invaluable – she made a significant difference, providing solid support that allowed me to feel empowered and secure during such a significant moment. What sets Kat apart is her holistic approach. It's not just about the birth; it's about the entire experience, encompassing prenatal care, postpartum support, and everything in between. Her attention to detail, continuous availability, and wealth of resources made the entire process feel seamless. Additionally, Kat's postpartum care was a game-changer. Her dedication went beyond expectation, offering invaluable guidance, practical assistance, and emotional support during those early weeks. Her commitment to nurturing the well-being of both the parent and the newborn is truly remarkable. Kat's warmth, expertise, and genuine passion for her work shine through in every interaction. She is a true advocate for families, ensuring that the journey into parenthood is not just manageable but a beautiful, empowering experience. If you're looking for a doula who goes above and beyond, I wholeheartedly recommend Kat at Meadow's Blossoming Bellies. Her dedication and personalized care make her an absolute gem in the world of birthing support.

I entered into the childbirth field for two main reasons. First, I want to empower women through the natural methods of childbirth. I remember the feelings of strength and control that I encountered when I had my three children at home in the presence of midwives. Now, I want to pass this on to other expectant mothers. With my first pregnancy, I was alone and thought about placing my baby with adoptive parents. Then one day, along comes the most incredible woman who ended up changing my life. She was a midwife who said that she would take me on as a client for the fee of $50 (for supplies). Little did I know that she had hoped that a home birth would convince me to keep my baby. Well, her plan was a success and she has given me a gift I have yet to repay. My second reason for getting into the birthing field was because I want to eradicate the general public’s misconceptions about pregnancy and the birthing process. A woman’s pregnant uterus should not be treated as a tumorous growth to be controlled by medicine, but rather a natural event that women have been participating for many years before doctors. In most cases, birth can be accomplished safely and satisfactorily without intervention, such as drugs and surgery. The need for patience must be practiced in the presence of a laboring woman. I believe that each labor and birth is a unique and miraculous experience. I also believe that there is more than one good way to have a baby and that parents should have the proper tools available for effective informed consent and informed refusal. have been a doula since 2007 and have had the opportunity to attend a variety of births including medicated, non-medicated, multiples, VBAC’s and home-births. I use many tools to help a woman cope in labor including massage, pressure points, movement, aromatherapy and I am trained in using a TENS unit and have units that I let my clients use for their labor. I love teaching some of the tricks I have learned over the years to the dad and helping him feel a part of the birth. My goal is for the mom and dad to feel like “WE did it” as they hold their sweet baby. I feel passionate about a woman’s power and ability to have the kind of birth experience she longs for. Birth is a beautiful, powerful and natural event. I believe that during labor, a mom needs to surround herself with people that believe in her ability and trust her body and I am always honored when chosen to be a part of that team. I also have a special place in my heart for helping families incorporate their Christian faith in their pregnancy and birth. A woman remembers her birth forever…she may not remember the specific details, but she will remember how she felt. She will remember if she was loved and supported, or if she felt fearful and intimidated. I have no magic powers, but I hope my presence helps those memories be as positive as they can be.

Shelby was a great doula for us and we highly recommmend her! We hired Shelby as our birth and postpartum doula and we had a great experience! We had a couple meetings before birth to talk through all of our questions and prepare a birth plan. During delivery she was calm and reassuring, which helped both of us. In the first couple of weeks after birth she thought us a lot about baby care, like baby bath, how to use a baby wrap…

I cannot say enough good things about Stacey & Brandy. They helped me manage my pain levels throughout labor & delivery, communicated with my midwife for me, advocated for me on my behalf, and most importantly they helped me feel SAFE even during the most challenging parts of my labor/delivery. They're sweet & kind and they're very knowledgeable about what to do to help mamas during pregnancy, labor/delivery, and postpartum.
