About me

Hi, I’m Kat! A doula, parent, and the heart behind Meadow’s Blossoming Bellies. For the past few years, I’ve been home with my daughter Meadow, watching her grow into this bright, fierce little human who’s taught me more about life and strength than I ever expected. She’s the reason I stepped into this work. I want her to see that it’s never too late to follow your passion—and that women can lead, heal, and build something powerful, even in the messiest seasons of life. My path to becoming a doula didn’t start with a dream. I found this work through my own experiences of birth, trauma, and healing. Meadow was born six weeks early and spent time in the NICU. Our journey included feeding challenges, a g-tube, postpartum depression, and a long road to bonding. It wasn’t easy, but it cracked me open. It made me realize how much support matters. Not just medically, but emotionally, spiritually, and human to human. That’s why I show up the way I do—as a birth, postpartum, and sibling doula who’s committed to creating a space where people feel safe, respected, and never alone. I’ve taken a range of trainings, mentorships, and classes, but most of what I bring to this work comes from lived experience and deep listening. I’m here to walk with you through the unknowns—offering grounding support, honest conversations, and care that fits you. My work is rooted in connection. I meet each family where they are, honoring your values, your needs, and your voice. Whether you’re navigating birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or preparing your older child for a sibling, I’m here to support the whole experience with presence and compassion. This work is sacred to me. Every story matters. Every birth matters. And you deserve someone in your corner who sees you fully. The Blossoming Birth service focuses on offering personalized support to expecting parents throughout their birthing journey. Beginning with a complimentary meet-and-greet, I remain on-call from 38 weeks until birth, providing continuous communication and essential assistance during pregnancy and immediate postpartum. This service includes tailored resources, a customized birth plan, prenatal and postpartum visits, and the capture of precious birth images, all designed to empower and nurture a memorable birthing experience. Expanding upon birth doula services, the Blossoming Birth & Postpartum package provides comprehensive support during pregnancy, childbirth, and up to eight weeks postpartum. This holistic approach encompasses detailed prenatal care, immediate postpartum aid, meal provisions, emotional and practical support, as well as a postnatal care kit and baby gift, ensuring a healthy and positive transition into parenthood. The Blossoming Postpartum Package is specifically designed to offer practical, emotional, and newborn care support for individuals seeking postpartum assistance. It covers guidance on self-care, household tasks, feeding, light housekeeping, running errands, and caring for pets and siblings, creating a nurturing environment for new parents as they adapt to life with a newborn. The Blossom & Beyond Postpartum Package extends postpartum doula support beyond the initial post-birth phase, providing ongoing practical, emotional, and educational assistance for several weeks or months. This comprehensive service includes general newborn care and education, household support, emotional guidance, and extended postnatal care via in-person and remote communication. Moreover, additional personalized services such as Blossoming Care, Moon Care, Blossom Drop-in Visits, Baby's Birth Star Chart, Self-Care Kits, Sibling Care Packages, New Sibling Keepsake Box, New Parent Date Night, Birth Art, and Belly Casting are available as add-ons to cater to specific needs and further enrich the experience of expecting and new parents.
