About me

Hello friends, My name is Karin Yanez, I am a certified birth doula and I currently reside in Denver, Colorado. I am passionate about elevating woman's vision of pregnancy, labor, birth and deliveries as a means of grace and the natural process of growing, giving birth and caring for your newborn. As a doula my scope of practice has become rewarding and has allowed me to help support other women before during and after giving birth. My goal is to partner with you in the stages of labor to help give you the best positive, blissful and memorable experience for you and your baby.

Service introduction

My name is Karin and I want to share with you a bit about myself and what I do. I have always been hands on, visual learner and hard working. While raising children, I have been doing many different things to be active and find creative ways to serve the community through out the years, and when the recent opportunity came up to become a birth doula I decided that this was my calling and jumped right into it. As I began my journey I knew that this felt right for me and that I am meant to utilize this practice to help and support other women who are in need. As a birth doula I provide labor support during birth to an expecting mother and the family. I help the birther stay calm and relaxed before and during active labor. I provide different types of comfort measures that fit the birthers preference. Another important skill, as a doula, is that I try to assure that the birther is empowered and can make her own choices. My primary goal is to mother the mother by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support and guidance.
