Our experience was an absolute dream! Kenna being our Doula was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. She was SO helpful throughout my entire pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum. Her birthing class was so educating (my husband even remembered parts that I couldn't!). I had been debating on switching my prenatal care & she supported me in every way. I had even attended a breastfeeding support group/class when pregnant & she came with me!! When it came to be baby time, we were in touch from the minute we got to the hospital - we had an induction and with me having a baby already, we were confident on not needing her there right away & as soon as I told her I was ready for her to come to the hospital, she was there instantly! Right away she jumped into Doula mode as she assisted me with laboring techniques. She helped to not only support me, but also my husband and helped guide him through ways to help better support me. She helped latch our baby right away & stayed for as long as I wanted after delivery. During postpartum she answered any question I had (even if it was a stupis question). She also came by for a postpartum visit and it was so nice to have her come over and help us. Every part of our experience the second time around was so much better than the first and hiring Kenna was such a huge role in that!
