I’m here to listen without judgment, answer questions, help you understand your choices, and remind you of your own strength when things feel overwhelming. I won’t tell you what you should do or what your birth should look like. Instead, I’ll help you feel prepared, informed, heard, and confident in making the decisions that are right for you and your family. I believe support should feel personal. It should feel like someone checking in, sitting beside you, helping you breathe through the hard moments, celebrating the good ones, and reminding you that you don’t have to carry everything by yourself. Whether you’re hoping to grow your family, preparing to meet your baby, or learning how to care for yourself and your little one after birth, I want you to feel like you have a village.

My name is Dominique Williams. I am a Full Spectrum Doula with a background in crisis response and a passion for perinatal mental health. I believe every family deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. I enjoy supporting families as they navigate the emotional, physical, and practical changes that come with welcoming a new baby. My approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and evidence based care. Drawing from my experience remaining calm and supportive during high stress situations, I strive to create a judgment free space where families feel empowered to make informed decisions and confident in their own instincts. Whether providing emotional support, practical guidance, education, or simply a reassuring presence, I am honored to walk alongside families as they welcome their growing family.

Hi families! I'm Da'Vonna Henderson but I go by Vonna :) I'm a Certified Full-Spectrum Doula and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. I'm based in the Champaign-Urbana area but willing to travel up to an hour away to provide services. I dabbled in birth work for about 3 years before I decided to become officially certified in September of 2026. As a mommy of 4, I'm all too familiar with the labor and delivery process. I'm also familiar with the feeling of being undermined and dismissed. As your doula, my job would be to advocate when you feel unheard, give comfort when you feel stressed and to provide safety when you feel threatened. I'm here to give unwavering support to families during an extremely beautiful yet vulnerable time in their lives. My arms are open to work with any and all kinds of individuals as I understand folks come from different walks of life and may not appear to be the "traditional" family. When I'm not helping bring babies into the world, I'm at home spending time with my husband and kids. I love to write poetry, cook, and take care of my plants!
