Hi everyone, my name is Ruby, and I am a bilingual full spectrum doula who is passionate about supporting people and families during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and other reproductive experiences. Becoming a doula felt purposeful. I come to life working with mothers. I am a Body Ready Method Pro, Breathwork Facilitator and Herbalist. I specialize in breath mechanics and nervous system regulation. I have a deep understanding of the connection between breath health and nervous system health. When you can utilize these two things for your pregnancy, labor and post partum you will change your entire life. Your nervous system is the driver and unless you become present with it and understand how to speak with it your intuition will always take a back seat. Educating parents about how they can better navigate their labor and the medical system is a big part of what I do. Since then, I’ve welcomed my own children—first via cesarean and then through a VBAC—experiences that have deepened my appreciation for the importance of informed, compassionate care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. With a background in emergency medicine—including work on a NICU/PICU transport team and as an ER Technician at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital—I bring a steady, grounded presence and a blend of clinical knowledge and heartfelt support to my doula practice.
