Congratulations you are having a baby! But how…? Are you a bit nervous, anxious or excited about birthing your beautiful blessing but need a little guidance in the relaxation department? Well that’s what I’m here for; to help guide you (and your partner) into the biggest step to starting/growing your family. 1 In Home or Studio visits (1-2 hrs) to help you create your perfect birthing experience. In our visit we will talk more about my role as your doula and create the most optimal birthing plan. We will go over the phases of labor and practice a variety of relaxation techniques. We will discuss common medical interventions & how to incorporate or prevent them. We will talk about what your “perfect” birthing experience would look like & we'll address any questions, concerns, or fears you may have. I will provide resources and information as needed.* Birth support during active labor (after 3 cms dilated). As a Certified Massage Therapist and Birth doula I combine hands on support as well as breath work to assist in the labor and delivery process. I bring my own birthing bag with essential oils, battery operated lighting, massage tools, oils and so on. I am also here to support the birthing partner by running errands, emotional support, watching other children, monitoring guests and so on. 1 Postpartum home visits to help you integrate the birth process as well as recollect your birthing story. We will also discuss how we can move forward in the healing process as a new parent(s) as well as any support that may still be needed. (1-2 hrs) 2 Somatic Coaching Sessions. These can be done one on one or including a partner or family member. Phone, text & email support will be provided from 9am-9pm until 2 weeks postpartum. Once early labor begins I will be on 24 hr standby. A backup doula will be provided in the event that I cannot be reached or if additional support is needed at no additional charge.
