Hi, I’m Cheryl and my goal is to help as many mamas giving birth feel safe, cared for, loved and empowered. I’ve learned how much a calm, caring presence can make a difference during life’s biggest transitions. As a mom to four, I understand firsthand both the joys and the challenges of parenthood. I want you to know that you are safe and you are worthy and this is yours and your baby’s birth story! My goal is to walk alongside you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with compassion, reassurance, information and practical support, so you feel safe, informed, and never alone. Total Care Package

My full support package is designed to provide continuous care and reassurance from pregnancy through the early days at home with your baby. Prenatal Preparation – We’ll meet to discuss your hopes, preferences, and any questions you have about pregnancy and birth. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that helps you feel confident and prepared. Two Prenatal Visits – These visits give us a chance to build a strong connection, explore comfort measures, and talk through both practical and emotional preparations for birth. Text & Phone Support – Throughout your pregnancy, I’ll be available for ongoing support by text or phone to answer questions, provide resources, or simply check in when you need reassurance. Continuous Labour Support – When labour begins, I’ll join you and stay by your side with hands-on comfort techniques, encouragement, and advocacy so you feel safe and supported from start to finish. Postpartum Visit (4 hours) – After baby arrives, I’ll visit your home to provide feeding support, newborn care tips, light household help, and time for you to rest and recover. This package is built to give you the peace of mind that you’ll have consistent, compassionate support every step of the way—before, during, and after birth.

🌸 Postpartum Connection Package 🌸

This package is ideal for families who feel confident with in-person support during birth but still want reassurance and guidance in the weeks that follow. Prenatal Preparation – One in-person and one virtual visit to discuss your goals, preferences, and comfort measures so you feel prepared for birth. Text & Phone Support – Ongoing virtual support during pregnancy to answer questions and provide encouragement. Continuous Labour Support – Hands-on, in-person care throughout your labour and birth. Virtual Postpartum Support (6 weeks) – Instead of in-home visits, you’ll receive ongoing text support for six weeks after birth. I’ll check in regularly and be available to answer questions, share resources, and offer reassurance as you adjust to life with your baby. This package provides the same continuous presence during birth as my full support package, with a lighter, virtual-only approach during the postpartum period.

🌿 Guiding Light Package 🌿

This package is designed for families who feel confident handling birth and postpartum in-person care but would like light, ongoing virtual support for guidance and reassurance. Prenatal Check-In – One brief virtual visit to answer questions and provide resources for preparation. Text & Phone Support – Available for questions, encouragement, and reassurance during pregnancy, birth and the first 6 weeks postpartum. Optional Labour Q&A – Guidance and tips via text or call if needed as labour approaches. This package is completely virtual and ideal for families seeking a safety net, quick guidance, or emotional support without scheduled in-person visits.

As your doula and perinatal support worker, I provide personalized care tailored to your unique needs. During pregnancy, I provide emotional reassurance, evidence-based information, and practical guidance so you feel confident preparing for birth. When it’s time to welcome your baby, I offer continuous support throughout labour—helping with comfort measures, advocacy, and creating a calm environment where you feel safe and respected. My support doesn’t end at birth. During the postpartum period, I provide hands-on care, including feeding support, newborn care guidance, light household assistance, and rest breaks for parents. I also walk beside families experiencing perinatal loss, offering compassionate presence and space to process grief. Whether you’re preparing for your first baby or adding to your family, my goal is to help you feel cared for, connected, and never alone on your journey.

1. What does a doula or perinatal support worker do?

I provide emotional, informational, and practical support during pregnancy, helping prepare you mentally, physically and spiritually for birth, and postpartum. This includes helping you feel supported in your choices, offering comfort measures during labour, providing support,guidance and reassurance on newborn care Being a calm, reassuring presence throughout your journey.

2. How do your support packages differ?

I offer several levels of support to meet each family’s needs. My Full Birth Support Package includes prenatal visits, continuous labour support, and in-person postpartum care. The Postpartum Connection Package provides continuous labour support plus virtual text support for six weeks postpartum. The Guiding Light Package is fully virtual and offers lighter support during pregnancy and the first few weeks postpartum.

3. When do we start working together?

We usually begin with prenatal preparation anytime after you’ve decided on your support plan, ideally in the second or third trimester. This allows us to build a strong connection and create a personalized plan for your birth and postpartum experience.

4. How do virtual postpartum support sessions work?

For virtual support, I’ll check in with you regularly via text or phone, answer questions, provide guidance, and offer reassurance as you adjust to life with your baby. You can reach out anytime during the agreed period for advice or support, making it flexible and responsive to your needs.
