Congratulations on your journey to becoming parents! My name is Christina and I am a trained birth doula with DONA and certified birth and VBAC specialist with ProDoula. I have been a birth doula for 3 years! I respect everyone’s right to birth their way and I work hard to support clients with birth education, understanding hospital policy and best practices on how to advocate for themselves. I am empathetic, and deeply attuned to the needs of the families I partner with. I deeply value teamwork and I work with both partners to make sure that everyone feels and is cared for. I welcome all families!

What to expect

As your birth doula, I offer 3 prenatal visits and 2 postpartum visits. During our prenatal visits, we learn about you and your partner’s birth philosophy and what you hope for your birth experience. We focus on birth education, understanding hospital policies and how to communicate with hospital staff. We create a birth plan as well as take actionable steps to make the postpartum period less daunting!

We hired Christina as our doula. She has been a great help to us. This started with three prenatal sessions at our home to get to know us and our needs and to prepare us for what to expect and how to best approach the labor process. During labor, she was a great advocate for us, kept us apprised and provided guidance, helped my wife with comfort measures, took detailed notes, and took lots of pictures. She has since come to our house twice to help us with the postpartum process, including nursing help, helping us organize and clean, and continuing to provide guidance. She remains available by text/call as well, which is an invaluable lifeline. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great doula.

Christina was amazing! She prepared us mentally about pregnancy, labor, and birth. She gave us a lot of information and on the day our son was born, she was with us the whole time making sure we had everything we needed. She continued checking up on me after coming home from the hospital and gave me much comfort when I needed it. Highly recommend Christina!

If I could give Christina 10 stars, I would! My wife had a difficult birth that included pre-eclampsia and a c-section. Christina was there with us through every step of the process, taking careful notes and supporting us. She always seemed to know exactly what Roz and I needed to hear as we faced challenging decisions. I highly recommend her to anyone!!

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a backup doula?

Yes! clients are introduced to the backup doula during the 2prenatal visit. Although I pride myself in attending the births myself, it is a source of comfort to the clients to know that they will not be alone if I have an emergency!

Yes! I completed my training with DONA 3 years ago and completed more training with Prodoula and received certification as a labor doula and VBAC specialist.
