Cloe is a doula and a mother of one. The native new yorker has a background of early childhood education, and has worked in childcare for over 10 years. After beginning the journey to start her family she fell in love with doula work. Having support through birth and postpartum made Cloe want to be that support for other families. She quickly found her passion as a doula and uses her background to help you in the transition to early parenthood. Cloe is there to offer information and guidance during the “no one ever told me about this” parts of parenthood. She uses current evidence based advice to help you through labor and the early months of postpartum, she is also there as a companion to you during a time that can feel isolating. Cloe prioritizes mental health and self care, she draws on her own experience to help clients normalize asking for help. As a mother herself she understands the value of support through anything from feeding schedules to postpartum healing.
We worked with Cloe as both a birth and postpartum night doula during and after the birth of our first child. I had a very successful labor and attribute much of that to Cloe's knowledge, compassion, and advocacy. She worked extremely well with my OB and the hospital nursing staff, and I felt so supported. When we got home from the hospital, it was an immense comfort knowing that Cloe would be there to help us through our first night, and many of the nights that followed. Thanks to her guidance, I have also had a smooth breastfeeding experience. My husband and I would strongly recommend Cloe to any expecting person, and, while I am sure that Cloe would be fabulous in any situation, I would particularly refer her to those hoping to have the support of a doula while also seeking a hospital birth.
