Hi, I’m Estefany — a trained doula, medical assistant, physician trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology for 3 years in Venezuela, and nursing student passionate about supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My journey into birth work comes from both professional experience and personal understanding. After moving to the United States 10 years ago, I continued serving families in healthcare while following my passion for maternal care. I also became a NICU mom after delivering my daughter prematurely at 29 weeks due to severe preeclampsia, an experience that deeply shaped the way I support and advocate for mothers today. As I continue my education, my long-term goal is to become a midwife and continue empowering women through compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive care. I believe every family deserves support during one of the most important seasons of their lives. My goal is to help mothers feel informed, supported, empowered, and never alone throughout their journey. I proudly support both English- and Spanish-speaking families.

I have a passion for community assistance ever since I have knowledge. I remember as a little girl helped the elders after school at only 9 years old. As years passed me passion for helping our community grew stronger. So I began my journey in the medical field as a RMA in the OB GYN specialty. I still felt that I can do more for my community and one day in bible study a lady I met called herself a Doula and I asked what is a doula and once she explained to me what a Doula is I immediately looked into it and it was an instant match for me. I was already working with moms and babies but being even more close to my clients and the community was an extraordinary feeling of accomplishment. I got certify as a Doula Business Owner, Lactation consultant, Birth Doula, Holistic nutrition, placenta encapsulation specialist all to be an all in one package for my clients. I strongly believe that it lessens the stress when a doula can carry multiple specialties needed to avoid referring and the client to be seeing multiple appointments in a day. Hi, I’m England, founder of Womb + Root Wellness. 🌿 I’m a mother of three, full spectrum doula, lactation consultant, herbalist, and Reiki Master. My journey into birth work started long before I became a mother. I found myself naturally supporting and advocating for other mothers, while also navigating my own reproductive health journey. For years, I struggled with endometriosis without a diagnosis. As a Black woman, I experienced firsthand what it feels like to have your pain dismissed, your health overlooked, and your voice unheard within the healthcare system. I also watched the women closest to me including my mother and sister experience traumatic births and a lack of the care, information, and respect for autonomy they deserved. When I became pregnant and had my own children, I became my own doula. I learned how powerful it is to understand your body, know your rights, trust your intuition, and have someone in your corner. Those experiences became my purpose. I created Womb + Root Wellness to be part of the change—especially within Black and Brown birthing communities. My work is rooted in education, advocacy, holistic care, nourishment, and empowerment, helping mothers feel informed, respected, supported, and heard throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. I’m a lactation counselor with 95 hours of lactation training through Childbirth International and 15 months of personal breastfeeding and pumping experience.
