I have always been drawn to birth work and I've chosen to practice as a doula because I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and prepared throughout their birthing journey, regardless of what life path you're on. Greetings! I am a Full Spectrum Doula Specializing in birth and also serve as a placenta specialist. My goal as a doula is to empower you to have the most positive birth outcome as you see it and connect you to resources to allow your transition to motherhood go as smoothly as possible. I am a certifying birth and postpartum doula and a mother of three. I felt called to this work after the birth of my first daughter while living abroad with my husband in South America. Through that experience—even with a great husband—I became deeply passionate about ensuring that no mother has to navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period alone. The early weeks and months of motherhood can be overwhelming, and women need the support of other women during this transformative season. While raising my family and working as an administrative assistant, I have pursued my passion for supporting new moms and families as a Family Life Coach with Colorado Family Life Center (CFLC). Through the Confident Beginnings Program, I walk alongside first-time parents as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. I guide parents as they learn about breastfeeding, bonding, milestones, sleep, and so much more. Officially becoming a birth and postpartum doula was a natural extension of this work. In my free time, I love spending time with my family playing board games, going camping, and discussing the latest sasquatch sightings. I run a small at-home bakery called Bun in the Oven Bakery, where my daughters and I sell pies and muffins at the Orchards Farmers Market during the summer. I am a follower of Jesus and attend Flatirons Community Church in Denver.
