My name is Ashke. I serve families in the Bloomington, Indiana area as a perinatal guide. I am a mother, educator, herbalist, nutritionist, and doula dedicated to supporting women through the sacred journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I combine my experience and knowledge of traditional birth wisdom and clinical western herbalism based in the tradition of Vitalism to guide families through this important time. I completed my doula training with Birthing from Within and did a one year apprenticeship with experienced doulas in Colorado Springs. I am a Certified Clinical Herbalist and Nutritionist through the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism. I also offer TRE (Trauma & Tension Release Exercises) as part of my practice. TRE is a transformative type of bodywork that allows the body to release patterns of tension and stress stored in the body. I offer this to birthing parents both prenatally and postpartum.
