I plan to give birth at Flagler hospital in Saint Augustine. I am hoping to pay little to nothing. I hope to have a calm, natural birth, with dim lights, in a natural position for me, and where I can let my body do the work instead of pushing and tearing. I am hoping for a doula that is non judgmental, open minded, and has a calming presence, but can be stern with the hospital employees if needed. Someone who is comfortable working with a plus size mom. Recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes but still hopeful for a vbac!
