I am an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, parent educator, and mother of four with personal experience breastfeeding my four children through a variety of challenges for about six years. My nursing experience includes two years in NICU. I'm not currently licensed in California as a registered nurse. As a new mother, I was so thankful to have in-home support. This is the same model I have developed my lactation services on. Early and often works well for establishing your milk supply. It also works well to provide support to new parents as they adjust to life with a new baby. My Story I am New York native, living in Los Angeles now for the last 15 years. I am a proud mom to my 6 six boys (age 5 to 21) so for a long time I was either pregnant or breastfeeding. Each baby breastfed for a different duration of time depending on what was going on in my life then and I enjoyed every minute of it. As my boys grew older I was on the search for a new career so I started searching. After exploring various career options, and helping some new mom friends along the way I set my eyes on becoming a Lactation Consultant. This profession combines my passions for babies, breastfeeding and helping others. I so enjoyed my breastfeeding experiences with my babies and wished the same for all moms. So, in my 30's and mom of 5 at the time, I returned to school. After completing my prerequisites, I joined the LC program at UCSD and finally became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2019. ​
