About Domonique
Hi, I’m Domonique Franklin, Birth Doula and founder of The Franklin Birth Collective. My connection to birth work began long before I officially became a doula. For nearly 20 years, I’ve found myself supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth, and the transition into motherhood. After having the privilege of personally supporting four births, along with my professional background in OB/GYN medical assisting, I realized that supporting families through one of the most meaningful moments of their lives was more than something I loved—it was work I felt deeply called to do. That calling led me to further my education and earn my Birth Doula Diploma with Distinction. Today, through The Franklin Birth Collective, I provide compassionate, non-medical support to help expecting families feel informed, prepared, heard, and supported throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum journey. Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing
À La Carte Services-Overnight Newborn Support / Night Nanny
8-hour minimum ($360/night). Overnight assistance may include newborn soothing, diaper changes, bottle preparation/feeding as directed by the parents, bringing baby to a nursing parent for feeds, burping, settling baby back to sleep, washing baby bottles/pump parts used during the shift, and maintaining the baby's nighttime routine—allowing parents to get more uninterrupted rest.
À La Carte Services-Postpartum Support
3-hour minimum. In-home support may include newborn care assistance, feeding support within doula scope, light baby-related tasks, emotional support, newborn soothing, and helping parents adjust during the early postpartum period.
À La Carte Services-Birth Debrief
60-minute supportive session after birth to talk through your experience, process your birth story, ask questions, and reflect in a nonjudgmental space.
À La Carte Services-Birth Planning Session
90-minute private session to discuss birth preferences, questions, options, and preparation so you feel more informed and confident heading into birth.
À La Carte Services-Partner Birth Prep
90-minute session focused on helping your partner/support person understand comfort techniques, positioning, advocacy, communication, and ways to confidently support you during labor.
À La Carte Services-Labor Comfort & Positioning
90-minute hands-on preparation session covering non-medical comfort measures, movement, positioning, breathing, relaxation, and coping techniques for labor.
The Nurture Package
One 90-minute prenatal session, birth-preferences review, labor/comfort preparation, partner guidance, support beginning at 36 weeks, on-call at 37 weeks, continuous labor and birth support, immediate postpartum support, and one virtual postpartum check-in. $400 retainer + $850 balance.
The Signature Birth Experience
Two 90-minute prenatal sessions, personalized birth planning, labor/comfort preparation, positioning and movement education, partner coaching, preparation for possible interventions/changes, priority support, continuous labor and birth support, about two hours immediate postpartum support, one in-home postpartum visit, birth debrief, and resources. $550 retainer + $1,100 balance.
The Bespoke Experience
Everything in Signature plus a third prenatal session, extended prenatal support, individual partner session, comfort-measures practice, postpartum preparation, priority scheduling, 2–3 hours immediate postpartum support, two in-home postpartum visits, extended birth debrief, and 14 days of postpartum text support. $700 retainer + $1,400 balance.
What to expect
The Franklin Birth Collective provides personalized support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Services include prenatal preparation, birth planning, labor comfort measures, partner guidance, continuous birth support, postpartum support, and birth debriefing. I also offer overnight newborn support/night nanny services to help with feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and nighttime routines so parents can get much-needed rest.
