About me

Hi, I’m Domonique Franklin, Birth Doula and founder of The Franklin Birth Collective. My connection to birth work began long before I officially became a doula. For nearly 20 years, I’ve found myself supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth, and the transition into motherhood. After having the privilege of personally supporting four births, along with my professional background in OB/GYN medical assisting, I realized that supporting families through one of the most meaningful moments of their lives was more than something I loved—it was work I felt deeply called to do. That calling led me to further my education and earn my Birth Doula Diploma with Distinction. Today, through The Franklin Birth Collective, I provide compassionate, non-medical support to help expecting families feel informed, prepared, heard, and supported throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum journey. Service introduction

The Franklin Birth Collective provides personalized support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Services include prenatal preparation, birth planning, labor comfort measures, partner guidance, continuous birth support, postpartum support, and birth debriefing. I also offer overnight newborn support/night nanny services to help with feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and nighttime routines so parents can get much-needed rest.
