About me

Hi, I’m Asionna but everyone calls me Asia! I’m a birth doula, family-support professional, and a mom who genuinely believes that every family deserves to enter birth feeling heard, respected, informed, and supported. My approach to doula care is warm, down-to-earth, and completely judgment-free. I’m not there to tell you how you should give birth, I’m there to help you understand your options, advocate for what matters to you, support your partner and loved ones, and be a steady presence through all the unexpected moments that birth can bring. Whether your vision includes an unmedicated birth, an epidural, induction, cesarean, or simply taking things one moment at a time, my goal is for you to feel empowered and cared for throughout your experience. My philosophy is also shaped by years of working closely with children and families, including my work with the Parents as Teachers model and within birthing communities. I believe birth support goes beyond the delivery room; you’re welcoming a baby while also navigating a major transition as a family. I bring compassion, education, humor when you need it, reassurance when things feel overwhelming, and a genuine respect for every family’s culture, identity, structure, and choices. There is no “perfect” way to birth or parent, there is simply what feels right for your family, and it would be an honor to walk alongside you as you discover that.

I provide compassionate, personalized birth and postpartum doula support designed to help families feel informed, confident, and cared for. Services include prenatal preparation, birth planning, continuous labor support, comfort techniques, partner guidance, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and family education. With flexible packages and sliding-scale options, I strive to make supportive, inclusive care accessible to every family.

Birth Right

For families who primarily want a trusted, calming presence on their birth day. Includes: On-call availability beginning at 38 weeks, continuous labor and birth support, comfort measures and positioning, acupressure and breathing techniques, partner guidance and advocacy support, plus 1–2 hours of immediate postpartum support after birth.

For families who want to feel prepared before labor in addition to having continuous birth support. Includes everything in Birth Only, plus: two prenatal visits, personalized birth-preference planning, comfort-measures education, partner preparation, phone/text support beginning at 37 weeks, and one postpartum check-in.

Birth Right Complete

A more comprehensive experience supporting your family through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum transition. Includes everything in Essentials, plus: three prenatal visits, individualized birth and postpartum planning, childbirth/partner preparation, priority phone/text support, one in-home postpartum visit, newborn and feeding education within my scope, and a personalized birth keepsake/portrait when possible.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer sliding-scale pricing?

Yes! I believe finances should not be the only barrier to receiving compassionate birth support. Limited sliding-scale options are available based on financial need and availability. Please reach out I’m happy to have an open, judgment-free conversation about what may work for your family.

When should I hire a doula?

You can reach out at any point during pregnancy! Connecting earlier gives us more time to build a relationship and prepare together, but I also welcome families later in pregnancy when availability allows.

How do you support partners during birth?

My role is never to replace your partner, but to support you both. I help partners feel confident and involved by teaching comfort measures such as positioning, counterpressure and acupressure while offering reassurance and guidance throughout labor.

Do you support all families and birth preferences?

Absolutely. I provide compassionate, inclusive, and judgment-free care that honors your identity, family structure, culture and personal birth choices. My role is to help you feel informed, respected and supported not to make decisions for you.
