Hello beloved I am Larice Johnson and I am a certifying full spectrum doula supporting families in Maryland. I have been trained with two different black/POC organizations. My goal in this work is to provide space for black and POC birthers, and birthers in other marginalized communities to safely and comfortably birth in their most ideal way. I believe the only way to ensure safety and comfort throughout pregnancy, during labor/delivery and recovering through postpartum is through education and support. When a baby is born, so is a mother. Our gift to a new family, is non judgmental support. This means there are no hard set rules on the support offered as it is holistic in nature. I have been exclusively working with infants since 2022 as an NCS and I have been a doula since 2025. I am a non-smoker, pet lover who absolutely adores babies and is committed to helping parents navigate the overwhelming and life-changing journey that is postpartum. I have all of my clearances, am fully vaccinated and boosted, have my CPR/AED and First Aid certification as well as my Postpartum Doula and NCS certification and insurance. Christina Duff, CD(DONA), CLC, MS, is a Philadelphia and Main Line birth doula with more than 20 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum care. Since 2006, Christina has supported more than 1,800 births throughout the Philadelphia region. Based in Havertown, PA, Christina is the mother of three. Her oldest son attends Saint Joseph’s University Graduate program, her middle child attends Georgetown University, and her youngest is a student at the Academy of Notre Dame. Christina co-founded Well Born Baby with the goal of providing expert, compassionate support to growing families. In addition to her work as a birth doula, Christina is a postpartum doula, certified breastfeeding counselor, and childbirth educator. Christina's path to birth work began in science. She earned her B.S. from Drexel University in 2000, then pursued Master's studies in Biology, specializing in biomechanics and functional morphology.
