Tina Brown
About me
Hi, I’m Tina, a full-spectrum doula based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have three years of experience supporting families and have had the honor of attending over 20 births. With a background in healthcare, I bring both experience and a deeply compassionate, nurturing approach to the families I serve. I’m a proud mother of five, grandmother of five, and the founder of a nonprofit dedicated to supporting and empowering families in my community. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that birth is a sacred and deeply personal experience. Every person deserves to feel safe, heard, respected, and supported as they navigate pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the many transitions that come with growing a family. I believe in informed consent, body autonomy, advocacy, and honoring each person’s unique choices without judgment.

Service introduction
As a full-spectrum doula, I provide compassionate, individualized support throughout pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood. My services include prenatal education and preparation, birth planning, comfort measures and positioning, breathing and relaxation techniques, labor support, advocacy, informed consent education, and emotional support. I also provide postpartum support, breastfeeding and lactation guidance, newborn care education, infant massage, safe sleep education, and resources to help families feel confident and supported after bringing baby home. My approach is holistic and family-centered, supporting the mind, body, and spirit. I incorporate techniques such as rebozo, movement, birth balls, relaxation, and other natural comfort measures when desired. I also believe partners and fathers are an important part of the journey, so I help them feel prepared, included, and confident in supporting mom. Above all, I provide a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space where families can ask questions, explore their options, and feel empowered to make informed decisions that are right for them.

Ratings and reviews
Tina is suchhhh an awesome doula! I am a first time mom and she stood by me and my partners side every step of the way. She gave us numerous techniques to use to prepare for labor and during. She’s heaven sent and WILL advocate for you during labor. I was in labor for TWO DAYS and Tina did not leave our side for two days. We could not have asked for someone better. Although she was our doula, Tina is forever family to us! I would recommend her and work with her a thousand times again (if I could lol)
