It is my first child and we would like to do a hospital birth that have the assistance and guidance/support from a doula. Hoping to have a doula to advocate for me to give me the highest chances of having a natural birth without c section.

This is my second baby. I'd like a hospital birth. My first birth was not traumatic but I remember feeling like I was limited in my ability to express my needs and felt pressured into certain interventions. I also had a very negative breastfeeding experience and was never able to establish that with my first and would like to try again. I am looking for someone to help advocate for me during the birth and support me in getting breastfeeding established.

I plan to give birth at Christiana Care in northern Delaware. I’d like to find a doula that takes my insurance and can provide the 3 prenatal, 3 postnatal visits and labor/delivery support. I’m going to be a first time, single mom by choice and am not sure who, if anyone, will be in the delivery room with me and I’d like an advocate and someone I trust to help support and help me understand what is going on and my choices in real time. I’ve also never given birth before so someone that can help me figure out what to expect, what should even be included in a birth plan and what choices or things I should consider. I’m an older mom so someone with alot of experience is appreciated, but I value personality matching and a good fit more. Although this isn't my first birth experience, my youngest child is now 13 years old, so it has been quite some time since I've been through labor and delivery. I'm looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional birth doula who can provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor and delivery. My birth preferences include: - I plan to receive an epidural for pain management. - I would like encouragement, comfort measures, and guidance before and after receiving the epidural. - I value clear communication, a calm presence, and someone who will help me feel confident and supported during labor. - I would appreciate assistance with labor positioning, breathing techniques, advocacy, and helping my support person participate in the birth experience. I currently have Maryland MedStar Health insurance. I am specifically looking for a doula whose services are covered by my insurance. If my insurance does not cover doula services, I do not plan to pay out of pocket, so insurance acceptance is an important requirement. I'm excited to work with a doula who respects my birth preferences and can help make this a positive, supported, and empowering experience.

We live in Hanover, plan to birth in Carlisle. Looking for a home birth experience in a hospital setting. Unmedicated if possible, with minimal intervention. History of infertility and loss. Strong personality and need someone who can work with that. Looking for prenatal, birth and postpartum support. Experience with breastfeeding, baby wearing and cloth diapers is a plus. Definitely want someone with experience in movement techniques to optimize baby's positioning. My insurance covers 1200 per year and we can go a bit above that. Bonus points if we can split billing or do a visit in the new year to use both years benefits. Insurance requires a tax ID number and an invoice.
