This is my first baby and I’m interested in having a doula for extra support during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I’m due February 7, 2027, and I’m considering delivering at Mercy Medical Center. I’d like someone who can help me prepare for birth, advocate for my preferences, keep me calm during labor, and provide hands-on support. I have Priority Partners insurance, so I’d also like to know if you accept it or offer coverage through Medicaid.

I plan to give birth at Upper chesapeake MD with a midwife. Hoping my medicaid will cover the cost. I want my birth plan to be an unmedicated birth with delayed cord cutting and baby never leaving me. The only thing I want is a female provider.

I am a young first time mom who is very organic and natural. I don’t want to go to a hospital because I do not trust or believe them. They also scare me. Me and my boyfriend want a water birth and an at home birth. No shots. No medication that isn’t necessary. Just all natural. I’m not sure what my budget is just because I have never done this before but I’ve done some research and I’d like to stay under $10,000 if possible and if you take insurance that would be even better.

I plan to give birth at a hospital but I would like help laboring at home as long as possible, and help throughout the pregnancy and labor. I want little to no medical interventions and go as natural as possible. I would also appreciate anyone who works in with Medicaid/insurance. First baby, I’m delivering in Maryland. I plan to deliver unmedicated. I just need the support to push through & be able to decline pitocin, cervical checks things like this unless absolutely necessary. I do have a budget but I would like to know what the normal cost is.
