I cannot recommend Anat enough! She deserves 10 stars. I truly believe this is the best money I have ever spent . As a first time mom I knew I wanted a doula to help me with my delivery experience. I interviewed 8 doulas and Anat stood out from the crowd. She is so warm and knowledgeable. She has so much experience. I felt safe with her and I also felt immediately drawn to her warmth. Hiring her to be our doula was the best decision we ever made . She was there for me for every step of my pregnancy. When I went into labor she came to my house and made me a bath. She helped me labor in the bath and af home for 4 hours while easing my pain through physical and mental touch. At the hospital she literally turned the room into a spa . She had (fake) candles , calming music and massage tools . She help me manage through the pain by touching and massaging me . She also helped my husband by being more hands on during labor so he could rest and have energy when the baby arrived . I had an amazing experience birthing my daughter - and I owe that all to Anat. I recommend her to all my friends .

“I’m an IBCLC and Certified Nurse Midwife with an independent practice providing both full-scope midwifery care and comprehensive lactation services across hospital and community settings. My lactation work spans the full clinical spectrum—from establishing breastfeeding in the immediate postpartum period to managing complex feeding challenges such as low milk supply, delayed lactogenesis, post-cesarean lactation, and infants with dysregulated feeding patterns. I have extensive experience in detailed newborn oral evaluation, including identification and functional assessment of anomalies such as ankyloglossia. I integrate these findings into individualized care plans and frequently collaborate with interdisciplinary providers for frenotomy when indicated, as well as provide structured pre- and post-procedural feeding support to optimize outcomes. My approach is evidence-based, highly individualized, and focused on measurable outcomes. I prioritize effective milk transfer, protection of maternal supply, and long-term sustainability of the breastfeeding relationship. My care plans often incorporate structured supplementation strategies—including the use of supplemental nursing systems to maintain feeding at the breast—alongside selective, clinically appropriate use of galactagogues. I place strong emphasis on ongoing reassessment and adjustment to ensure interventions remain effective. I also have experience supporting higher-risk dyads, including late preterm infants, NICU graduates, and cases involving maternal endocrine or perinatal factors impacting lactation. Working across both inpatient and community environments has given me a clear understanding of care transitions and the gaps families encounter after discharge, allowing me to provide more cohesive, continuous support. My midwifery background strengthens my ability to assess the full maternal–infant dyad and identify contributing factors early, supporting more efficient and durable lactation outcomes. I’m confident practicing autonomously and value strong collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, with a consistent focus on delivering practical, clinically sound, and patient-centered lactation care.”

*Currently on maternity leave for the remainder of 2026* Birth and babies are my passions. I started the journey to becoming a birth doula shortly after having my second baby, Colton. My first and second births were completely night and day. My first baby, Caleb, was an incredibly long and strenuous labor; a total of 72 hours. With my second, however, I was only in labor for a total of 25 hours, which still is very long, but not by comparison. I owe a lot of that to my amazing birth team I had for my second birth, which included a midwife and doula support, and the education I gained throughout my pregnancy on how to prepare my body for birth. I believe in a holistic approach to birth. I don't think birth should be treated as a medical emergency until proven that it needs to be. Birth is a natural, beautiful thing, and while modern medicine absolutely has its place, I don't think it automatically belongs in every birth space. That said, I support every way to give birth, because in the end you're the only one in control. If you want an epidural, membrane sweep, Pitocin, all the drugs, I will absolutely support your decision. Or if you want to deny all cervical checks, do intermittent monitoring, and have your baby in the tub, that's great by me too! My priority as your doula would be to give you access to all the information you need to make well informed choices and give you the support you need to make your birth experience exactly what you want

My husband and I hired Jill after going back and forth on whether we even wanted/needed a doula and are so happy we did! From the moment we got pregnant, we knew that we were hospital birth people. Though friends and family had suggested a doula, those friends and family were the home birth / bathtub birth, free spirited, yogi types and nothing at all like us in terms of lifestyle or beliefs. We thought do we really need to spend the extra money? Would a doula would be too hippy-dippy for us? We interviewed four or five different doulas in the area and decided we’d give it a go and that Jill best fit our vibe. She was all about empowering us and not the least bit judgmental of our desire to have an OB, birth in a hospital, and leave the epidural on the table as a possibility. All in all, with Jill’s help we ended up having the unmedicated vaginal birth I desperately wanted but was too afraid to outright commit to from the outset. And if there’s anything I can say to those on the fence about a doula because of the cost, it makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE on delivery day. For us, that doula was Jill. She provided the physical and mental support my partner and I would have otherwise never even known we were missing (massage, position changes, words of encouragement, you name it!), and was 100% the reason we were able to have the unforgettable experience we did! We wish everyone could have a Jill with them on delivery day!!

Sarah Epstein

11 years of experience

Sarah began her journey into postpartum doula practice in 2015 through Birth Arts International and has since continued her education, becoming certified in Infant/Adult CPR and as a baby-wearing technician. She regularly attends workshops to ensure that she provides her clients with the most current and comprehensive support available. Growing up with a brother who has a non-verbal disability, Sarah learned from an early age to intuitively read and respond to unspoken needs. Witnessing her mother's nurturing care and trusting her own instincts have shaped Sarah's approach to providing compassionate, intuitive support to families, especially those who may struggle to express their needs. Her passion for newborn care, sparked by her personal experience as a mother of two, drives her work. Sarah offers services ranging from breastfeeding support to establishing sleep routines, helping parents feel confident and empowered in their journey with a new baby. The "village" of support she had after her children's births inspired her to offer others the same level of care and guidance. Outside of her work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family & friends, playing with the family dogs, being outdoors, cooking, and traveling.

My experience with Sarah was VERY positive. Upon meeting for the first time, we instantly connected and eventually bonded to the point where Sarah felt like extended family. I hired her to care for my infant baby girl for a few hours a day while my husband transitioned back to work after paternity leave and I was solo with 2 kids under 2. I needed someone for about a month to help make the transition smooth, but also look after my infant while I ran miscellaneous errands and/or tended to my 2 years old. Sarah proved herself to be an expert early on. I watched her handle my 2 month old baby girl with ease and care, so I began to let my guard down and trust her abilities. She covers all the basics (tummy time, putting baby down for nap, etc.) but does them in a way that is so attentive and full of glee that it was inspiring to watch. In addition to caring for the baby, she cooked for us, brought fresh fruit almost every visit and offered advice on different issues I was facing as a new mom of 2. Her advice was never pushy, which was great for my communication style. Lastly, she was really flexible! If I needed to switch hours or cancel, she easily accommodated with a little notice. Eventually, I ended our time together bc I needed to learn how do it on my own. I felt Sarah was doing such a good job, that I was starting to rely on her too heavily and needed to do the work myself. I would certainly recommend Sarah for families with a variety of needs - she can do it all, just ask! :)
