We are seeking a compassionate and experienced postpartum doula to support our family in Clark, NJ. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is certified (DONA, CAPPA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Fluency in both English. The primary care recipient is our newborn daughter, born in April 2025, currently just under 2 months old. She was born slightly premature via scheduled C-section and is currently thriving. We are particularly interested in someone who is gentle, attentive, and knowledgeable about caring for young infants, including bottle feeding, burping, diapering, and soothing techniques. Experience with premature or sensitive babies is a plus. We would appreciate support with light household tasks related to the baby, such as baby laundry, sterilizing bottles, and keeping the nursery tidy. If you offer guidance on sleep routines or sleep training techniques (age-appropriate and gentle), that would also be helpful down the line. Our estimated budget is around $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience and services provided. We are open to part-time or overnight shifts, ideally starting with 3–4 days per week, with flexibility. Long story short a friend of mine recommended I get a doula to help me this time around....I currently have state insurance through new jersey....I am being told by several people that doulas are usually fully covered through the insurance.
