Hey, I’m Elliot. I’m a THW‑certified doula based in Portland, Oregon. I’ve always been drawn to supporting pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, and I’m honored to walk alongside families during such a meaningful, transformative time. As a trans man, I also recognize how often queer people and their families are underrepresented and underserved in medical settings. My practice centers LGBT+ parents and is grounded in trauma‑informed, non‑judgmental care through a lens of reproductive justice—so birthing parents and their partners feel empowered to make informed decisions about their bodies and their care. I bring patience, calm, and genuine curiosity to every birth space. I’m a steady listener, an advocate when needed, and a gentle presence when quiet support is best. When I’m off‑call, you’ll find me making art, writing, cuddling my cats, or happily bumbling through a new videogame. I completed my initial training through Cornerstone Doula Trainings, and am fully THW certified through Mother Tree Birth. I've taken a cultural competency course -- including trauma informed care, interprofessional collaboration, and HIPAA training –, also through Mother Tree Birth; and I've also completed an Oral Health course and an adult/child CPR training course. As I'm still gaining experience, I feel it wouldn't be fair to charge full price for my services. I'm also open to using a sliding scale and/or barter system.
