Hi, I’m Emelia. It’s nice to meet you. I’m a birth professional based in Oshawa, ON, with a passion for supporting the whole person and their family through every part of the perinatal journey: emotionally, physically, and mentally. I’m currently certifying as a birth and postpartum doula with DONA International, a fertility doula through Doula School Canada, and a childbirth educator with CAPPA. This allows me to walk with clients through each chapter of their experience in a deeply personal and connected way. My work is grounded in the belief that this season of life deserves care that sees and supports the whole of who you are. Whether you’re preparing for birth, exploring fertility, or finding your rhythm in postpartum, I’m here to offer presence, warmth, and evidence-based support that meets you where you are. I know this time can feel like wandering into a forest without a map, full of beauty but also uncertainty. My hope is that when we work together, you feel safe to pause, to breathe, and to know you’re not alone. At The Fabled Doula, I view birth and parenthood as sacred, deeply personal journeys. My role is to be a calm, steady presence—someone you can rely on for support, guidance, and reassurance. Whether you’re preparing to give birth, settling into life with a newborn, or navigating fertility, my services are designed with care, flexibility, and intention. Every offering is centered around your unique needs, values, and story. My birth doula package is rooted in the belief that you deserve to feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout your birth experience. Together, we’ll spend time during pregnancy building trust, exploring your preferences, and preparing you and your partner for labor. When the time comes, I’ll be by your side, providing continuous emotional and physical support through birth—at home, in the hospital, or wherever you choose. After your baby arrives, I’ll stay for a while to help you settle in and offer gentle support during those first moments. For families needing extra care in the early days, I offer postpartum doula support. These visits are focused on easing your transition, helping you rest, and offering encouragement as you get to know your baby. I can assist with newborn care, feeding support, and light household tasks, or simply sit with you as you navigate the emotional ups and downs of new parenthood. My goal is to help you feel nurtured and not alone in this tender time. If you’re looking for consistent support from pregnancy into postpartum, I offer a combined birth and postpartum package. This continuity allows us to build a close relationship and creates a smoother, more supported transition across your entire journey. I also provide holistic fertility support for those trying to conceive. These sessions offer gentle space for emotional check-ins, body awareness, and lifestyle reflection. Whether you’re just beginning or facing challenges, I’ll walk alongside you with care and compassion. Because each family is different, I’m always happy to create a custom package that meets your specific needs. My offerings are flexible, and I strive to meet you where you are—with openness and understanding. All services begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation, which can be in person or virtual. This gives us a chance to connect, explore your hopes, and see if we’re the right fit for one another. From our first conversation to your final visit, my intention is always to offer steady, heartfelt care through one of life’s most meaningful transitions.
