I am planning a homebirth. I have a very tight budget. I have Anthem HDHP (PPO). My birth plan includes laboring and delivering without pain medication at home with my CNMs.
I plan to deliver in a hospital. We are students so we are on a tight budget but willing to look into offers. This will be a VBAC. My plan is spontaneous labor sometime before 41w5d (provider said this was best). And I plan to labor at home as long as possible, transferring to the hospital just before active labor. I’d like to do it unmedicated but am open to an epidural past 6cm.

Hi! I am a second time mom who will be delivering at HOAG hospital Newport. My first pregnancy was very chaotic because my son came 6 weeks early without any warning. I want to be much more prepared this time around and I am planning on choosing to go unmedicated as last time he came so unexpectedly I choose to get the epidural immediately without much time to think about it nor did I have a plan going into that birth.
