Faye Brandmaier

About me

Hello, my name is Faye Brandmaier, a Certified Postpartum Doula. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care and support to the birthing mother. I support parents in creating birth and postpartum plans. I prepare nutrient dense meals that specifically target postpartum healing and ideal breastfeeding support. I specialize in teaching and modeling focused infant care routines, promoting a healthy, secure attachment relationship and stimulating early brain development, all from day one. I offer experience, sensitivity, support, encouragement and education for postpartum families. My experience includes employment as Lead teacher in a Pikler/ RIE-modeled infant program at Bowdoin College, Montessori Teacher, After-school Wellness Coordinator, Infant Development Specialist, Parent-Child Communication Program Director, Early Intervention Counselor, and School Counselor.

Service introduction

My postpartum services include postpartum planning, care of infant for mom to catch up on sleep, have a shower or just to take a deep breath, nutrient dense meal preparation for optimal postpartum healing and breastfeeding support, recommendations of supplies to have at home, accompaniment to doctors appointments, sleep routine support, dad training, light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes and tidying up!
