About Felicia

After retiring from a long career of working with children and families, I became a professional doula. I wanted to support and nurture birthing persons during this sacred time of their lives. I wanted to offer sacred holistic services to them, youth, and communities by partnering with them as they learn more about holistic reproductive wellness. I also wanted to educate them about the importance of preventive reproductive health care, maternal health justice, trauma-informed quality childcare, equity and advocacy, childbirth education and basic lactation support through coaching, training, and mentoring not only birthing persons but the community and new doulas. So, I immersed and dedicated myself to learning all that I could about how to support in this way. I am the mother of two amazing adult sons and oftentimes reflect on my birthing experiences. They were both very different births but what helped me survive was the birthing team I chose and the village around me when I returned home and encourage those, I serve to embrace their community and build their village. I am also a Childbirth Educator, an author, singer/songwriter, a Master of Ceremony and a speaker. I am a birth justice advocate that believes birth work is justice work and there is no way to separate one from the other!

Full Sacred Birth Package Level 1

Breathe... This package consist of the following: - 1 Virtual Prenatal Appointment - 1 Virtual or In Person Prenatal OB Appointment (Accompanied) - 1 In Person Prenatal Appointment (which will be a home visit) - Birth Vision Support and Beginning Postpartum Planning - Unlimited phone, email and text support throughout your pregnancy, labor and birth. (Informational/ Resources, Emotional, Spiritual, Mental) - On call at 38 weeks, up until the birth of your baby -Virtual or In-Person Birth Support at Birthing Place (Hospital, Home, Birthing Center) by myself or backup doula -Evidenced- based non-judgmental support -Partner support and guidance - Basic lactation and body-feeding support (will refer to lactation specialist if more support is needed) - 1 In Person Postpartum Visit - 1 Virtual Postpartum Check In PLUS - 1 Birth Workbook (Emailed) - 1 Birth Affirmation Meditation (Emailed) -2 First Moment Photos
