Reiki trained doula, looking to gain more birth experience!

I am a Registered Nurse with 13 years experience in the hospital. Most recently I have doing travel contracts but am taking a break until the fall. I have 4 children of my own ages 6, 10, 15, and 17. I know how stressful it can be with a newborn getting no rest and being expected to maintain a household and also work. I would love to be able to help your family find that balance by providing overnight childcare and light housework.

I have years of experience participating as a peer educator with Planned Parenthood and have spent the last five years being fascinated with birth work. At the start of 2024, I started training with Doula Trainings International to become a Full Spectrum Doula. When I am not working, I enjoy being in nature on hikes or kayaking, spending time with my closest friends, and experimenting in the kitchen. Can't wait to get to know you :)

I'm a Christian DONA International doula, serving families in the SW Ohio area. I am a mother of five children, I have had home births, natural hospital birth, and medicated births. I have also assisted as a doula at homebirths. I have spent years collecting information and resources regarding birth, nutrition, and how best to support healing after birth.
