I plan to give birth in a hospital setting at Beaumont Royal Oak. This is my first pregnancy, and I am currently 23 weeks along. I am hoping for a low-intervention, unmedicated birth if possible, but I am open to medical support as needed and want to feel informed and confident in my decisions. I am looking for a doula who can provide education, emotional support, and advocacy during pregnancy and labor, and help me understand what to expect in a hospital environment. I am still exploring options and would appreciate discussing services, availability, and pricing, including potential payment plans.
Hello I am going to give birth in Troy Beaumont Hospital. We are expecting a first baby and thatās why I think it would be great to find a doula that could guide me thru the process.
I would like an home waterbirth with providers who preferably accept insurance. Iām not sure of my budget yet. My birth plan which is subject to change: delayed cord clamping, natural birth no pain management, skin to skin for mom and dad for the first 60 minutes, no eye ointment, vit k drops instead of a shot. Thatās all for now but Iām still writing it. I would like a midwife who has experience with at least 7-10 home water births.
I'm planning on giving birth at Covenant hospital. However, I would like as little medical interventions as possible. This is my first pregnancy and I'm looking for someone to help me prepare for labor and help me through the birthing process to hopefully avoid a C-Section. I would also like to know if there is a doula who accepts aetna ppo insurance.
I plan to give birth at the hospital. I want to try doing a natural birth. I am expecting for my insurance to cover all expenses. My insurance is with McLaren.
I plan on giving birth at a hospital. I want to try to go natural
I plan to give birth at a hospital. I don't know the costs of doula. I was hoping to get something that is covered completely by insurance. My budget is under $1000 as long as a payment plan is offered. My plan for birth is to go unmedicated. I'm eager to learn about pain management that doesn't include an epidural.
I'm looking for a midwife/mentor I'm 19 years old this is my first pregnancy and I would like to experience everything with the right way single mother
This is my first child. I would like to give birth at the hospital (most likely it will be in Ann Arbor). My budget would be around $2,000. I haven`t decided my birth plan yet but I know that I don`t want to induce the labor unless if necessary and I would prefer a natural birth without epidural injection, however, I`m not opposed. I`m looking for someone who could support me mostly during the labor. My husband will be present too.
Currently considering working with a doula if itās not too late for me to begin doing so. I am 26 going on 27 weeks at the moment. I plan on giving birth at covenant hospital in Saginaw and feel like the extra support in the delivery room would be helpful as this is my husband and Iās first child.
Iām looking for a midwife , maybe a at home birth and a postpartum/ night nanny

New mom and dad trying to survive all the changes and challenges of becoming first time parents. My husband goes back to work 1/12 and I have an unfortunate short leave going back 2/9. We are inquiring about overnight doula coverage when I go back to work full time.
Hi there. I exclusively pump and I make just enough.. slightly more if I pump more for my son by like 10-15 oz a day. I have elastic nipples (I think) and have tried everything to get my output correct. I have the pumpin pals flanges and a spectra. My nipples are starting to get deflated and very red and painful.. I don't know why. I have low vacuum, silicone flanges, massage, heat, ice, I've tried everything. It's at a point where milk just gets stuck in my boobs and will not come out when I pump unless I squeeze throughout the entire pump. Every time I'm done pumping I can still hand express streams out so I am never getting fully emptied by a pump. I have a eufy s1 too and that used to work great.. then all of a sudden stopped working and I would only get 1-2 oz per side when it used to be my primary point getting 3-4 per side. I'm sitting here pumping now, nothing is coming out, and I'm completely full. I need help, I've been so miserable when I pump. Thank you.
