I will be giving birth at home with a midwife, her birth assistant & my husband. This is our first child. My husband is going to be taking a month off work but his work schedule once he goes back is extreme, he works between 70-80 hrs a week between two full time jobs. Our budget is between 25-35$ an hour. I'm hoping to have 2 months of meals prepared for postpartum but am nervous about keeping up with household chores & taking care of the home by myself with a newborn once he goes back to work. I will start working on a birth plan with my midwife at 25 weeks. I'm 17 weeks currently. I will be getting a pool and plan to have a water birth but nothing is set as of right now.
Hello I am going to give birth in Troy Beaumont Hospital. We are expecting a first baby and thatās why I think it would be great to find a doula that could guide me thru the process.

I'm planning on giving birth at Covenant hospital. However, I would like as little medical interventions as possible. This is my first pregnancy and I'm looking for someone to help me prepare for labor and help me through the birthing process to hopefully avoid a C-Section. I would also like to know if there is a doula who accepts aetna ppo insurance.
I plan to give birth at a hospital. I don't know the costs of doula. I was hoping to get something that is covered completely by insurance. My budget is under $1000 as long as a payment plan is offered. My plan for birth is to go unmedicated. I'm eager to learn about pain management that doesn't include an epidural.

New mom and dad trying to survive all the changes and challenges of becoming first time parents. My husband goes back to work 1/12 and I have an unfortunate short leave going back 2/9. We are inquiring about overnight doula coverage when I go back to work full time.
Hi there. I exclusively pump and I make just enough.. slightly more if I pump more for my son by like 10-15 oz a day. I have elastic nipples (I think) and have tried everything to get my output correct. I have the pumpin pals flanges and a spectra. My nipples are starting to get deflated and very red and painful.. I don't know why. I have low vacuum, silicone flanges, massage, heat, ice, I've tried everything. It's at a point where milk just gets stuck in my boobs and will not come out when I pump unless I squeeze throughout the entire pump. Every time I'm done pumping I can still hand express streams out so I am never getting fully emptied by a pump. I have a eufy s1 too and that used to work great.. then all of a sudden stopped working and I would only get 1-2 oz per side when it used to be my primary point getting 3-4 per side. I'm sitting here pumping now, nothing is coming out, and I'm completely full. I need help, I've been so miserable when I pump. Thank you.
I plan to give birth at Henry ford Novi. This is my 3rd birth. I have had 2 vaginal births. Are there any doulas that help with post partum care? My company offers to pay 3000. What does 3000 do for post partum?
I plan to give birth in a hospital. I anticipate the costs will be covered by insurance. I want an unmedicated birth.
I am seeking a Black doula who is culturally competent and supportive. I plan to give birth at either a birthing center or a hospital. I would like continuous labor support, advocacy during delivery, and emotional support before and after birth. My goal is a calm, informed, and empowering birth experience. My budget is flexible and dependent on services offered.

This is my first birth and we are giving birth away from home (our families are in Chicago) so Iām looking for extra support and guidance. We will be giving birth at Sparrow hospital. My goals are to avoid C-section (if possible), avoid any invasive tools or unnecessary procedures and avoid epidural (if possible). Iām open to someone with less experience and I am unsure on a budget at this time.
I need someone to take care of my baby for at least 8 hours during the night. Put him to sleep, feed, and change diapers.
