I am so happy you are here! My name is Laurynn. I am a birthkeeper and student midwife serving families in DFW and surrounding areas. I offer antenatal support through various services including birth and postpartum doula, birth planning, lactation support, and placenta encapsulation. I am happily married to my other half, Colin, and have a daughter, Olive, born at Natural Beginnings Birth Center in 2023 as well as a son, Finn, born at home this past September. I believe that birth is a sacred rite of passage to be respected and honored, I encourage and love the inner wild woman in her most vulnerable space, and I believe in the innate ability and intuitive nature of her body and her baby during the whole process. The birth of my daughter and son have opened doors in my soul that I didn’t know existed, and in response, I have developed an extreme passion for helping women and their families feel empowered, safe, and nurtured during birth. Whether you have had previous birth trauma, you want to achieve your first homebirth, or you want to birth in the hospital, my goal is to have you leaving your experience feeling powerful, happy, accomplished, and that you had a voice that was heard and respected by your provider. Hey there! My name is Julie Davidson and I am a professionally certified birth doula, chidlbirth educator, and virtual birth coach. I live in The Colony, TX with my son Elliot, my husband Dennis, and our giant dog Franklin. My love for birth was born during my pregnancy with Elliot. I was always totally scared of labor, but after hiring a doula and diving into my own education and research... my fear turned into faith. As I learned how beautiful pregnancy and birth can be + how different your experience can be if you are educated and informed + how much you really are in control of... it all became less scary. Walking beside families through the transitions of pregnancy, labor and postpartum is such an honor! I am always grateful to be invited into someone's birth or postpartum experience and strive to make each one more prepared and peaceful. I am honored when families bring their questions to me and work to stay informed of current trends and concerns so that I can provide relevant and effective support. In addition to Birth and Postpartum Doula certifications, I have trained with a postpartum chef mentor to begin providing nutritional support to mothers that accomodates the increased needs for recovery and lactation.

A Dallas native, Madison was inspired to be a doula as far back as elementary school when she and her older sister watched TLC’s A Baby Story in the early 2000s. Madison completed DONA International Training March 2020. Since 2020, Madison has assisted mothers through VBACs, C-Sections, vaginal births with and without epidurals, home births, birthing center births and hospital births. Madison passionately encourages all pregnant mothers to have a doula who advocates for and is totally focused on the mother’s desires, comfort, and endurance. She builds a relationship her clients before, during and after birth experiences and stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and tools to make the birthing process the best it can be. Madison is a placenta encapsulator and loves talking about all things related to birth. Madison has worked as a nanny for many years since college and has a flexible schedule. She builds life-long friendships and relationships with her clients. She and her husband enjoy country and western dancing, fishing, game nights with friends, and playing with her niece and nephews.

First, as a sister and a friend, then as a mother myself, I have seen the medical system sew fear and doubt into women regarding their body's capability to achieve what it was intended to. The truth is, childbirth is both natural and miraculous. I believe that every woman has the right to decide what interventions she wants to use in childbirth without the use of fear, but instead through true informed consent. I continue learning daily how best to help each new mama, both through lived experiences and through research, and will gladly share my knowledge. I also believe that every woman should be supported through the most vulnerable and powerful moment of her life. In a system that pushes women away from their natural state, I am here to be that calming support and fierce advocate.

I have a great love of serving and caring for new mamas and their newborns. It's a passion I've had since a teenager. My first postpartum client came along at 18 yrs old - before the word doula was ever known. I have 40yrs of experience working with newborns, new parents, as an educator, postpartum doula, nanny, lactation educator, and newborn care specialist. I have worked in the 3rd largest hospital in the country within the maternity unit as a nurse assistant/patient tech. I also sleep condition and train babies to sleep well at night as long as the parents follow through with instructions when I am not there. Baby can sleep between 10-12hr straight. I also travel with the families anywhere they go within my time frame of my contract. Passport/TSI ready. Many families have me between 6weeks-4months.
