I wanted to be become a doula because birth is a life-changing experience and all women deserve to have the opportunity to be given that extra support they might have needed or wanted. As well as being a birth doula, I am also training to be a postpartum doula, because I believe that care and support is needed not only during pregnancy and birth but once the baby is born as well!
