Hello, I'm due in December and looking for a doula to support me during the birth. My last birth was not ideal, I was given too much medication, kept throwing up which would delay me being able to push, and my baby's heartbeat stopped at one point which I didn't even know because I was so drugged. I am looking for a doula to be me and my baby's advocate in that room to hopefully have a healthier birthing experience this time.
We have three kids with a fourth arriving in July. We are experienced parents, but TIRED and looking for help during birth and in the first 2-3 months after birth at night. I breastfeed and it normally falls on me at night, but my husband does help with diapers and non feeding needs overnight. Birth plan: have a healthy baby. That's looked different for all three kids, so we are open minded. Hospital: we aren't sure yet, but ideally a hospital with a robust NNICU
i am looking for an overnight doula or night nurse. - Inova Fairfax - Doula: 45 to 50 an hour, night nurse 30 an hour - Vaginal birth
I'm looking for a doula who can help me through my first birthing experience. My insurance requires me to birth at Virginia Hospital Center and I've always been the kind of person to put half my trust in medical science and half my trust in holistic belief, I want to do everything I can to train my body and mind to be ready for the beautiful journey of childbirth. I want to build an ideal birth plan and have a doula that can help me Advocate it when I am in the zone during labor. Some goals i'd like to learn more about: Interested in alternative birthing positions like squatting or knees, might not want an epidural, Up to 40min delayed chord clamping, no wiping off the vernix.
I plan to have a natural birth in a hospital without an epidural or pitocin (unless the doctor deems it necessary). I want to work with a doula on pain management strategies I can use during labor and ways my husband can support pain management as well. I have insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield, and it is the BlueChoice Advantage EPO plan.
I plan to give birth at a hospital, I have tricare prime so it will be covered at no cost to me. I haven’t decided on a birth plan yet!
I am in need of a doula for the support of my delivery.
I’m not totally sure so starting there would be great haha
I want to learn about the birthing process. I am a black woman and want to know all my options besides the ones my doctors say. I am having my baby at holy cross hospital. I am not sure of the price range for a budget. My doctor says I need to have a csection because of my scars from myomectomy.
MedStar st marys. Not looking to spend over $1000. I’d like to go unmedicated and not laying down at all, I have no other experience and would like to find someone local that is experienced and kind
