I am a labor/postpartum support serving families in the DFW area. My pursuit to maternal health education began six years ago when I experienced a homebirth of my third child. The following year, I supported a community member birth at the hospital and witnessed the differences between midwife facilitating brith at home and a midwife facilitating birth at a hospital. My research to find answers led me to learning about the history and the foundation of obstetrics in the United States. It has been my mission since then to support women experience pregnancy and labor as educated beings no matter where they decide to have a baby. My passion for this work aligns with my Faith, Islam. Therefore, as I serve families I focus on spirituality as well as science of birth.

We believe that birth is YOUR story and should be done your way. We try our best to support our clients wishes during births and follow directions for post Partum care as well. We think it’s important not to push clients to do things but allow them to choose their own paths. We love what we do and love educating our clients so that they’re able to make the best decisions for themselves and feel well informed when doing so… We are a team/partnership of two doulas and a registered nurse to cover all things birth, postpartum and beyond!

I'm Amber, founder of Rooted Motherhood Co., a pediatric sleep consultant and postpartum doula serving families through pregnancy and postpartum. My own experience with postpartum depression was the turning point that led me into this work, and once I found my way back to myself through better sleep, I became passionate about helping other exhausted, anxious moms do the same. As a sleep consultant, I take an individualized approach, looking at the whole child and the big picture rather than forcing one method on every family, and my gentle sleep training is grounded in evidence, not rigid rules. That same drive to support moms led me to become a postpartum doula too, closing the gap in postpartum education and care that I felt so deeply myself. Rooted in my Christian faith, I believe that if you are rooted before the baby comes, you can stay rooted through the hard parts of postpartum, and that belief is the heart behind everything Rooted Motherhood Co. offers.

My name is Orion Clements, the forerunner of Clements Doula Services, and I’m a Madriella Certified Birth Doula serving the DFW area. My name is Jordan Towns and I have served the role as an Emotional Support Coach/Companion for over two decades to women and men encountering a full range of life encounters. It was in Spring 2023 that my journey to become a Doula was initiated and what a journey indeed it has been.
