About Gissell

Hello everyone, my name is Gissell Mota aka the crafty Doula. I am a certified Doula located in West Haven, CT. I am very passionate about birth work and ensuring my clients are able to craft the birth they desire and deserve. My professional background is in Business. I believe birth can be calm and peaceful and I enjoy being able to create that atmosphere for my clients. I provide a judgement free zone to all parents and support person seeking informational and emotional support. In my free time I enjoy a good coffee and Family time. I am a mom of 2. I LOVE crafting as it helps people bond, get creative and sometimes even heal.

Birth & Postpartum Doula services

My goal as your doula is to ensure the birthing person feels safe, empowered, informed, respected, and heard throughout their pregnancy, labor, and delivery experience, regardless of whether they are giving birth in a hospital or at home. I work with you to help you craft the birth you desire and deserve. I will work with you and your financial needs. I accept Cash,Zelle,Cash App, Venmo, HSA/FSA and Carrot payments. I will also be accepting medicaid payments once approved in 2025.
