Birth at hospital, budget i have no clue i have tricare , natural birth

Hello I plan on giving birth at home. I was wondering if my insurance will cover it. The birth plan I want is to get epidural,delay cord cutting, have relaxing music, and also be able to not deliver on my back.

I am a first time mom who just wants to ensure I do everything right for my baby. I am looking for someone who can help with birth plans/prep, postpartum care, and just the overall basic knowledge for the rest of my pregnancy. I am hoping to use insurance, & I will be giving birth at Riverside in Newport News Va. I have a few key points that I want to include in my birth plan such as delayed cord clamping, low lights, epidural, and I do not want to be on my back while pushing. I would also like golden hour uninterrupted. Please feel free to reach out if you specialize in these areas 🩷

We are first time parents who Don't really have a support system and we just want to make sure we have a great pregnancy to term as it's been so far. We've been desiring to birth the baby at home if possible and as natural as possible. I have tricare coverage (retired military) budget wise I don't know what to expect 😅

I plan to give birth in a hospital setting and would really like a doula who is supportive of an unmedicated birth. My goal is to have as natural of a labor as possible while still being in the hospital environment. I’m looking for someone who can provide encouragement, reassurance, and calming support throughout labor, and help me stay focused and comfortable using natural pain-management techniques such as breathing, movement, positioning, and relaxation. This is very important to me because I want to feel supported, confident, and empowered during the birth process. I would love someone who can help advocate for my preferences if needed and create a positive, calm atmosphere during labor. As far as budget, I’m not completely sure yet, but I’m open to discussing options and finding something that works.

We plan to have a home birth, we are hoping that we can find some covered services under TRICARE. Outside of that our budget depending on the service.

I’m 34 years old and currently 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I plan to give birth at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. I currently don’t have health insurance, and am enrolled in VA Healthcare, which is the benefit that has been paying for all of my prenatal and maternity care thus far. My active duty fiance and I plan to get married mid-February, 2026, and I will then have Tricare Prime health insurance as his dependent. My estimated budget is whatever Tricare Prime will cover for a certified doula. My birth plan has not been created yet.

I’m interested in having a natural water birth. I want to breast feed. I want to delay cord cutting and newborn’s first bath. I have Medicaid and commercial insurance.

I would like to give birth at home but most likely I would have to give birth in a hospital due to gestational diabetes. My budget is hopefully less than a few hundred dollars unless covered by Medicaid if given a provider that accepts Medicaid. I would like to be able to go into labor naturally without having to be induced early(doctors like to induce women with gestational diabetes) I would also like to be able to freely move around as I've never had that freedom given I was induced and also recieved the epidural due to being in pain with both of my children.

This is my 4th pregnancy. I plan to give birth at Mary Immaculate hospital with a midwife but I would like to plan on a physiological unmedicated vaginal birth with least amount of interventions possible. I would like a doula to help me during labor and also advocate for my wishes for labor at the hospital and for my wishes for baby at birth. I'm interested in delayed cord clamping, magic hour, breastfeeding, declining shots for baby.

I plan to give birth at Sentera Norfolk General Hospital. I live in Yorktown, VA so may go to the closest hospital if I go into early active labor. My husband and I are federal workers and are being affected by the government shutdown. I am still figuring out a birth plan. This will be my first birth.
